This episode almost made me stop watching the series so I skipped through it.. Ruthless or not Damon, no ones that stupid, terrible writing, sad to say but the only rational way of thinking in this episode was the king himself ohhhh how the tables have turned

Viserys only thinking bout himself too tbh, so he's lowkey a hypocrite imo. He ignored the advice of one of his men and decided to marry Alicent rather than Leana which would've been the best option for him and the realm. Big boy ally with Corlys, and then your relationship with him won't get fractured. Him marrying Allicent just pushed dude away, and now he's tryna save it with having Rhaenyra marry Leanor.

Thats crazy this episode is pretty regarded as the best episode by far. The writing and drama really felt like game of thrones is back.

Doesn't feel like he meant for her to actually become queen. But he's happy that it happened. No way to be sure ofc but I think he just wants what's best for the realm and is using his daughter for that purpose. Not the greatest dad maybe but he does what he has to for his king and country. Or maybe he's just a snake it wouldn't surprise me.

Now I feel like we might have been mislead about Otto. He snaky, used his daughter but he might actually be a loyal hand (if the death of Viserys father was just a coincidence). Maybe he just tried to place his daughter into a position where she can become queen because he thought it's the best thing for her. Or I'm overthinking it and he is "just" a plain snake like everyone says.

The way y'all were acting like a couple of dads throughout the episode, especially at 46:01, killed me 😂 This was definitely my least favorite episode so far but y'all made it 10x better, great reaction as always

Yea I think Daemon has some kind of issue too. He had trouble when he was in the brothel in episode 1 too. I thought it was a Targaryen thing where he only really wanted someone who related to him but I guess not.

She def looked miserable! Probably even worse after that comment that the princess made to alicent about being a prisoner just giving birth is prob gonna haunt alicent for a while.

Hus was cracking me up this episode haha. It was a wild one and damn Alicent looks miserable in that awkward scene. I gotta agree I feel like Daemon would be content to chill while Rhaenyra did her thing. But goddamn what a way to plot.
