Lmao the energy ya'll had this ep was hilarious. That bath scene aint never got me like that but the music got to me. It's nice seeing all this shit after all that sudden pain and stress, its a little bittersweet knowing what's happened in current times but story wise it does it's job. We've just believed Luffy on his word alone of how important his brother was to him, but now WE feel it for ourselves too. Ace and Sabo were fundamental in shaping him, he was alone until he met them, then he set out to sea on his own and had to build up the crew we know from nothing--now he's currently alone again and he's already mentioned how much he hates that. These eps fun but low key emotional af. Dadan is a trip but a hard ass for dealing with them so long lmao

Honestly I think it even prolongs the pain we feel about it. So it was a proper choice from Oda to have it in this order.

I think they didn't want to break the building suspense. The war was built up through like 2 sub-arcs. If they threw this in the middle it would have ruined the momentum.
