2022-02-28 17:04:38 +0000 UTCAyye another fire ep. That VI appearance at the end was a great place to stop, it was the question on my mind the whole ep too she's easily my favorite. They do these characters so well because you can understand all the different motivations. Like you said, you can see Silco seems to be in a similar situation Vander was despite all that shit he was talking before. The professor is biased about his own longevity and it takes just a good bit of dialogue like his line about a decade being nothing to show that, but at the same time he isn't wrong about them needing to pump the breaks a bit and refine their tech. Those gadgets they made are WAY too easily used as weapons, like a whole ass laser you can aim with just a little glove? Power gauntlets? All that said I like the firelights swag, you guys got a good eye for all the details as usual. Already catching things I've seen people not notice (including myself) until much later.
