I'm 100% certain, that's the case. I see Foxy as a chill fun arc, that also serves as a contrast to the brainfuck that this arc is throwing at us. To me the super serious stuff hits way harder because of that. And it's from the first episode straight to the madness. Still my fav arc together with the next. Are you a first time watcher?

The subs you're thinking of are fansubs. They're using the ones that are on Vrv/Crunchyroll/Funimation/etc. Basically any official source for English subs is gonna use the same script. It sucks but you gotta deal unfortunately.
