Stars fill Crowley’s vision as he blinks and sways closer, his face cradled in Aziraphale’s hands. He knows he must look like the most debauched vision of fucked-out lassitude right now, but the expression in Aziraphale’s eyes pronounces that a glorious thing to be.
Wild impulses fly unchecked through Crowley’s mind. He can’t believe, after everything he’s been through, that he seems to be getting away with this. With actual… happiness. He wants to get down on his knees and wrap both arms around Aziraphale’s legs and hold tight, his body both request and promise. He wants to ask Aziraphale to stay in this moment with him, indefinitely.
But there’s one just slightly more pressing question, first. “So,” Crowley says, tilting his head, looks at Aziraphale as earnestly as possible. “Did I win?”... Keep reading
