No. Frame Generation (what PureDark is calling DLSSFG) is part of DLSS3. Only 40 series GPUs can use it, not 20 or 30 series cards. Since you have a 3070 Ti, you'll have to use either PureDark's or LukeFZ's DLSS mods that mod DLSS 2 into the game. Just type "DLSS" into Starfield's Nexus page and click on either the 3rd or 4th option. Don't forget to download all of the requirements and follow the instructions carefully.

I'm new to upscalers and new to mods. i see that he says DLSSFG is only compatible with series 4 cards. Is that different that DLSS3? I have an RTX 3070 Ti in my laptop. Does this mod do me any good at all?

Download the files from the discord. Open Gamepass, right click on the Starfield icon and click Manage, then go to the Files tab next to General. The Browse button will take you to the file explorer. Drill into /Starfield/Content/ for the mod drop location.

Can you put dlss in assassin's Creed odyssey or outer worlds

End key brings up the the re-shade menu fine, but I don't get an option to authenticate anywhere.

Doesn't seem to work. Can't open the menu and authenticate per the instructions. End key does nothing even though mod is in the root file

So first off link your discord by going to patreon settings then additional account and link your discord. 2. Access the beta section as listed in the description and download the file. 3. Find your game root folder (this will be where you selected the game to be installed you’ll know you’ve found the right folder when you see starfield.exe in it4. Go to your downloads folder find the file you’ve just downloaded when you click once you should see a button saying extract all and then you want to select the name of your game root folder you just found, it will ask if you want to overwrite the existing folders say yes, then load the game after that.5. When you enter the game press the end key and that will load the menu to turn on frame generation and DLSS (make sure FSR is turned on in the game settings and dynamic resolution is turned off

The performance boost is really nice with my 4080. Thank you very much! For me Beta 02 is still the most stable and im still using it. The game crashes sometimes but its really rare. Thank you for the great work! :)

Testing with a small group of people right now, a beta 06 is on its way which should be as stable as beta 02 but fixes the loading and scope freezes.

yeah i revert back to beta 2 and it doesnt crash anymore if i install beta 3 or beta 4 within a 20min - 30 min it crashes randomly when i put back beta 2 it works again going to try beta 5 when my clean install finishes i let you now !

It is the first time testing the FG with respect to the other betas, the performance it provides is very satisfactory, even so the most annoying problem it has is that in an interval of around 20 to 30 minutes the game closes for no reason (Main: R5 5600x, 32 RAM, 4060 TI 8GB). Beta-5

Even with FG turned off now, crashing in general during gameplay. Going to rollback to previous version Beta 02 hotfix 1. Also note worthy, with FG off in this new beta version I've went to 30fps on average. With beta 02 hotfix 1 FG off I get 60fps. With FG on for either, solid 120fps

This has fixed my load screen crashes with FG enabled. However now, I get random game crashes during game play running a 4080, that wasn't happening when I was getting the load screen crashes. Awesome getting those solved tho!

It's weird that some people have no a single crash on Beta 02 but will randomly crash with new version, I need to ask them to test what did I changed exactly that caused this

Hi all so I just downloaded beta 4. I have a 4000 series card. So just want to make sure I am doing this correctly. After installing the dlss 3.5 and FG mode I just need to go into settings and turn on FSR and turn OFF dynamical resolution? Does the render resolution need to be set to anything specific? Thanks

Some people have freezes with FG on in loading menus, and sometimes other menus. You can select only to disable FG in loading menus or don't disable FG at all, it's a dropdown menu.

I appreciate the option, but I am not sure about why fg should be turned off in menus at all. Does it produce some artifacts? I haven't noticed any with loading screens only in beta 3
