Skyrim Upscaler All-In-One Build 06

This is the new AIO build that features all 3 upscaling techs (DLSS/FSR3/XeSS) and all 3 framegen techs including DLSS Multi-frame Generation for RTX 50 and the new XeFG which works for all vendor's GPUs now..

When selecting None as the Framegen method, it will work as upscaling-only and be free of the overhead of dx12 interop which FG requires.

1.Supports DLSS 4.5, with new DLSS presets L/M added.

2.Supports FSR4 Redstone update, including FSR Frame Generation 4.0 ML-based and FSR4 Upscaling the FP8 version (both require RX 9000 series GPU to use, otherwise it will fallback to FSR3.1.5).

3.The mod comes with INT8 FSR4 by default. Only when you have an RX 9000 series GPU, do you need to download the SkyrimUpscalerAIOBuild-FSR4-FP8(Addon).zip, and place it below the mod. Then you have the FP8 version of FSR4 Upscaling.

4.Fix a bug that causes a slight decrease in Host FPS.

Reflex 2 Demo 2 Fixing the borders

Forgot to post here as well, I made a second demo with a trick implemented to make the border artifacts unnoticeable.
I simply render extra pixels outside of the screen, 25% to each direction.

And to make sure there not too much overhead from rendering extra pixels, I used variable rate shading to render the pixels beyond screen at a 4x4 shading rate which is like only 1/16 pixel count.

P.S.If you find some artifacts like pixelating shadow/sun/glare it's because I didn't have the time to distinguish which pass should have variable rate shading applied and which pass shouldn't, so I just apply to all of them, it doesn't represent what it should look like in a normal game.

And you need to turn on resizable bar to run this demo since I used GPU Upload Heap.

Reflex 2 Demo Download Released

Don't mind me speaking Chinese, didn't bother to record it twice.

In the last video, I mentioned that I reverse engineered the nvngx_latewarp.dll leaked in the public testing of ARC Raiders

But later it was discovered that this file was already included in The Finals in May, but it has not been enabled yet

If I had discovered earlier, Reflex 2 could have been tested in May

Note: According to Nvidia, Reflex 2 is only supported on 50 series at launch, but it seems even RTX 20 can run this demo.

First unofficial reflex 2 test result

ARC Raiders Playtest somehow contains a sl.latewarp.dll and nvngx_latewarp.dll, which I believe is the unreleased reflex 2's binaries. So I took two whole days figuring out how to make use of it and make it work and succeed.

Implemented mono depth estimation as well

I got obsessed with it and spent a lot of time coding instead of playing. But in the end I converted Depth-Anything-V2 to work for OBS.

It's getting more and more interesting to work on this project, DLSS FG works suprisingly well with estimated depth and optical flow vectors.
Maybe I'll release this after all, it's too good to keep for myself.

Interesting attempt on using DLSS MFG on Ghost of Yotei

haha, I got DLSS MFG working for Ghost of Yotei, a PS5 game (through capture card of course), and it's working really well, I am playing at 30 fps to capture the instant smoothness but with a 60 raw fps FG to 240 fps there's no noticeable distortion around the character, and it's way better than lossless scaling and even smooth motion.

Just for fun though, not gonna release it since not many have a Capture card to play PS5 game at 4k HDR on PC like me.

This is the DLSS4 Build, it features Muti-frame Genreation, and it works in both GTAV Single Player and FiveM.

  • RTX 50s should use this version.

  • RTX 40s can use this version but recommended to use the DLSS3 build.

Took me a day to implement FSR3 into Indiana Jones

This is a picture of both the FSR3 upscaling and framegen's debug view , showing it's working and has proper depth/moition vectors/optical flow/etc.
But it will take longer to fix the UI to make FSR3 FG actually usable without all the HUD ghosting.

Dragon's Dogma 2 DLSS3 Enabler 02

Capcom enables signature check for the interposer dll and disables DLSSG plugin, seems like they really don't want people using DLSS3.

  • 3. If you want to use other graphic mods such as NVE or QuentV, install their ReShade first.

  • 4. Delete the dxgi.dll and d3d12.dll if it's in the game's root folder after you have installed their ReShade.

  • 5. Extract all content to the game's root folder, overwrite the dxgi.asi.

  • 6. Enable Vsync for GTA5.exe in Nvidia Control Panel, this is improtent!

  • 7. When you have launched the game, open ReShade menu using either Home Or Insert, the upscaler's menu should also be shown with ReShade's menu.

  • NOTE: If you are using QuantV, open QuantV.preset.ini and set Vehicle_Carbon and Vehicle_Raindrops to 0.

INSTALLATION FOR GTA ONLINE

  • 6. Enable Vsync for FiveM_bXXXX_GTAProcess (located in FiveM\FiveM.app\data\cache\subprocess) in Nvidia Control Panel, this is improtent!

  • 7. When you have launched the game, open ReShade menu using either Home Or Insert, the upscaler's menu should also be shown with ReShade's menu.

Dragon's Dogma 2 DLSS3 Enabler 01

Since this mod only enables the game's own hidden DLSS3 implementation, it's now released for free. All I ask is that you link to this post when redistributing.

You still need to have a RTX 40 series GPU in order to use DLSS3!

Installation

1. Extract to the game's root folder and overwrite the file (you can make a backup first).
2. You need to turn on DLSS and Reflex in the game settings of course.
3. In the game you can press END to toggle DLSS FG (default on).

Update: People are reporting having crashes/freezes with FG, probably the reason it's hidden at launch. But still a lot of people reported having no issues at all after hours of playing, so try it and see whether you can use FG. If not you'll have to wait for the official patch to fix it.


Update2: Some people have reported that capping the FPS can reduce the chance of freezing, like capping it to 90 in Nvidia Control Panel. Or you can try capping it to 60 in-game, and with FG it's actually capped at 120.

Fallout 4 Upscaler FSR3 Build 01

This is the version that supports DLSS/FSR/XeSS for upscaling and also features FSR3 FG.

This works on ROG Ally and other windows handhelds

Installation

  • 1. Install like any other F4SE plugin, best way would be install the zip directly into MO2 or Vortex.

  • 2. No fullscreen, set bFull Screen = 0 and bBorderless=1 in Fallout4Prefs.ini

  • 3. Set Fullscreen=false and Borderless=true and BorderlessUpscale=false in HighFPSPhysicsFix.ini if you are using HighFPSPhysicsFix (Recommended!)

  • 3. Recommended to cap your FPS with ENB or HighFPSPhysicsFix to half of your refresh rate minus 1! For example if you have a 144hz monitor set the FPS cap to 71.

  • 4.Set DOF from Bokeh to Low in the launcher.

  • 5. Probably best to disable ENB's sharpen pass or it can get oversharpen, and disable DOF effect if you can't stand the shimmering in the blurred background.

  • 6. You need to install ReShade, then download the CustomReShade from the server (in the #fallout4-beta-access channel) and extract its dxgi.dll to the game folder and overwrite the existing one.

  • 7.Turn on v-sync for Fallout4.exe in nvidia control panel or AMD's driver software.

  • 8. Press END to open the mod menu and do authentication if not already authenticated.

Other Important things

  • Press END to open the in-game menu for tweaking sharpness and lod bias.

  • You can't change upscaler type and quality level in-game, you can only change it in the ini file and restart the game.

  • If you can't get into the game, also check for F4SE version, the newest is 0.6.23.

  3. Check if you have dxgi.dll in the game folder, if so, download the modified ReShade and replace the dxgi.dll.
  4. Enable Vsyc for SyrimSE.exe in Nvidia Control Panel.
  5. Launch the game and press END in the game to open the menu for upscalers and do authentication.
  6. Slide DOF all the way to the left (it's in the game's own settings).
  7. Turn off ENB Edge AA and DOF (If you play at high enough resolution you can still try to use ENB's DOF, but if you can't stand the jittery just turn it off).
  8. Set the FPS Cap in the mod menu to half of your refresh rate minus 1! For example if you have a 144hz monitor set the FPS cap to 71.  Or you can use ENB's fps limiter instead. This is only for preventing your FPS from exceeding your refresh rate, if you know what you are doing you can cap it lower to your average FPS (cap to half of that of course) to get a more stable frametime.

OTHER THINGS

  1. If you use ReShade, you need to download the modified version I posted on Discord.
  2. Note that you can't change quality level at runtime, you'll need to change it in the ini and restart the game.

IMPORTANT: If you are using SSE Display Tweaks, open SSEDisplayTweaks.ini and set Fullscreen = false and BorderlessUpscale = false. Remember to remove the # before them or they won't take effect.

If you are not using it, set bFull Screen = 0 in SkyrimPrefs.ini

If you are using detection meter, make sure it's at least v0.17.

Got FSR3 working for DX11 games

Well the method I used to get FSR2 (before it got native dx11 support) and XeSS working for DX11 games, seem to also works for FSR3.

Needed to use some extra tricks on getting the swapchain working but seem to work out already.

I'll implemente FSR3 for the current DX11 games I have already made mods for before working on a new game.

Palworld Upscaler FSR3 Build 01 & 02

This mod enables DLSS/XeSS/FSR3 and FSR3 Frame Generation in Palworld.
Note that currenlt only Steam versoin is supported, Game Pass version is not.

  • Link your discord account to patreon and you will get pulled in the server by patreon bot.
  • Download updates in beta-access channel.

  • Added FSR3 Framegen, and allow for AMD GPU to enable DLSS in-game to swap it with FSR3.  
  • Fixed HUD ghosting with FSR3FG. 
  • ROG Ally can also use it, not sure about Steam Deck.

INSTALLATION

  1. Extract everything to Palworld\Pal\Binaries\Win64 
  2. In the property for Palword, add -dx12 in the launch option. 
  3. Launch the game and select TSR for Anti-aliasing or DLSS won't take effect.
  4. Enable DLSS and select a quality level. 
  5. Press HOME in the game to open the menu, then authenticate for the first time, afterwards there's a Enable Frame Generation option. 
  6. You can use the Numpad * hotkey to toggle it.
