ABOUT SUGGESTIONS FOR STL POLLS AND THE SELECTION PROCESS

Long wall of text incoming.

I always add the same generalize set of rules when i make the post for suggestions but it seems they might not be clear as to what i mean by those and i feel like i need to clarify and go a bit more in depth. I'd like for everybody to understand them as clear as possible so they can suggest something more in line with the things that work and can, eventually, see the character they like win a poll.

I cant stress this enough but if you want your suggestion to be taken up for consideration you need to try and not suggest characters that are too old, too obscure, or from IPs that are just not trending outside of their own environment and completely separated from this: Vtubers.

By these i mean stuff like Digimons, characters from Frist Descendant, Old animes, etc.

When it comes to Vtbuers: These are personalities. People that actually work with their image. I will not be working with any vtuber that does not express explicit interest on me making a model of them nor will i be asking any vtuber if they would like me to or if it'd be ok that i make a model of their avatar. A lot of vtubers will have some set of terms when it comes to stuff like making patreon exclusive content with their image. So once again, Unless they directly tell me they wanna work with me in some way that's not something that will ever happen.

As for anything that might not fall into these points...some characters have specific features that make it really hard and cumbersome to work with them. (Wings, overcomplicated hairstyles, body proportions that dont fit my style, an identity beyond their original outfit or enviroment, etc)

Lastly, There's popular characters that i wont be adding to the polls very frequently because some people have expressed in the past they grew tired of these characters always winning the polls (very understandably). So these characters we spread around the year to try and keep them fresh.

As a final note...The STLs are both a group request/interest thing and a way for me to advertise what i do. So ultimately we will always go for what the majority of people want and/or with whats best for mantaining or improving the health of this Patreon. Hence why obscure characters will mostlikely never be chosen over things that are trending.
