It sounds like a really dumb problem to have, but I genuinely couldn't decide whether or not to include breasts on fem characters, given most mammals have more than two mammary glands and it would feel weird for everyone to have exactly two Just Because but also if I was going off of each species' IRL counterpart to determine the number, pigs would need six bras, and I just can't do that to them.
...As you can see I ultimately decided to not decide. lol
So some people have breasts with projection, some have very little or none at all, and it comes down to an individual's build. Species may play a factor as well, but not as a hard and fast rule. (Rosa does have nipples under there, but they're not prominent under the fluff.)

2025-07-23 15:40:39 +0000 UTCVery true!! Rule of cool applies in so much of furry worldbuilding, it's truly bonkers. Even clothing details, ex. I draw pants stopping at the "ankle" which leaves a third of the leg exposed since they're all digi, because we're not used to seeing pants that bend once at the knee and then again at the ankle and it looks hella awkward :') even though logically they would probably design pants that run the whole length of the leg. Sometimes ya gotta sacrifice "realism" for the sake of strong visual communication!

2025-07-19 03:52:49 +0000 UTCYeeeeeah it's a bit of a mixed bag trying to decide how much of the base animal sticks around in the switch to anthro. You can always stick to 'rule of cool' / whatever looks best, and handwave 'inconsistencies' by basically saying they *didn't* evolve from the wild animals we have here on our world, but rather they're just similar-looking analogues in a second / alternate world, so some stuff is the same or similar and some isn't. ;)
