The Day We Met - Chapter 3, Page 30

No kidding it's not healthy, you're staring at your phone screen at full brightness in the dark! You trying to fry your retinas??

I'm not called out you're called out

Unironically the reason why I dipped from a bunch of social media is because of this occurrence. Mindlessly scrolling and feeling myself become so mentally exhausted before I finally came to and realized that this is not healthy. Not healthy at all. ESPECIALLY in college, where your identity is going through the biggest forging process in the world. Agh, poor Pen.

My highschool self would feel cripplingly called out rn LMAO

It's not just you! It gives me those vibes too. And thank you! I didn't think anyone would actually agree with my view on being single. I usually get told I'm weird and to talk less, after I express my opinions about important things 😕

Foreal, not to mention the sheer waste @-@ is it just me or does valentine's day junk have serious dead-mall vibes Also that's a really lovely way of thinking about being single, and I agree!!

Falco

Is it really doomscrolling if you don't look up from the phone afterward and have a permanent blue rectangle in your vision?

Falco

Ugh, this is exactly why I dislike these modern fabricated celebrations and holidays. They are centered purely around consumerism, feel very forced, and create a cursed loop, putting social pressure on those who don't celebrate them, telling them they should somehow feel bad. And Valentines is perhaps the worst. Why should a single person feel bad or weak? For what? Being single makes you stronger, not weaker or less valueable. Because you manage everything on your own, not relying on another person. It needs to be celebrated, not shunned and belittled. Be proud of yourself! ❤️

Rosa and the vixen make quite the pair! I also foresee some potential issues with one particular member of the friend group in the near future.

This reminds me of when I was younger, and my parents always told me never to stare at my phone at full brightness in the dark
