Sketch page: ink studies
Added 2025-02-24 17:00:04 +0000 UTCI've been abusing the heck out of my micron pens lately, particularly for studies. I feel like drawing without an undersketch that can be erased or adjusted has been a helpful exercise, plus the hatching is very satisfying to draw lol
All of these were drawn using reference photos found on Pinterest!

In my experience you can't go wrong with drawing from life (and photos); as far as learning techniques go I'd highly recommend Tracy J Butler's tutorials on her Lackadaisy website, and Aaron Blaise (director of Brother Bear) has a youtube channel full of free content and a website with paid courses :)
