This was a 2-for-1 "movie," as we had two different Natsume adventures combined in one to watch! While I liked both of them a lot, you can always sell a Tanuma-centered episode with Natsume SO easily to me, and this one had QUITE the fun surprise! I hope you enjoy as much as I did!

And yeah, only this show can make you go from not cute to precious in 60 seconds…or in this case, 23 minutes. Natsume and Madara were great as always in this, but MISUZU! Ugh, LOVE IT! And Tanuma needs to quit being prone to possession! I just LOVED The Strange Visitor - I was NOT expecting it and it was so well done! Protective Natsume is so interesting and wonderful to see in action in the show! And Misuzu and Sasame’s relationship? Hello! Love it! The mystery, the tenderness of it – like you said, it’s what Natsume excels at so well! I also LOVE that Madara scolds Tanuma! HOW FAR Madara has come! I agree, he genuinely cared for Tanuma in the moment and was scolding him - loved that! Ta-nu-ma! Indeed! Ahhh, I can’t believe we’re starting Season 7 already! WILD TIMES! Various things I loved: Mitsumi the pirate chicken! 😆 And the progression from the quite confident ‘it’s not cute’ to the protective ‘so precious’ – expert work as always from the show 😆 Natsume wanting to show Madara, going: “I think you’d enjoy it, too” Kuroda’s VA work as Misuzu Darling Tanuma being so prone to possession 😭 I have to say The Strange Visitor is one of my favourite ‘episodes’ – I just adore it for all the reasons which came up in discussion, very happy to see you had just as great a time with it! 🥰 The abundance of protective (and slightly jealous) Natsume, the Misuzu/Sasame relationship and how tenderly Misuzu was trying to coax Sasame out, the mystery, etcetc. And yes! Madara being the one to scold Tanuma – such a sweet moment of Madara caring about someone other than Natsume, and I don’t think this was a ‘this is Natsume’s ‘friend,’ so to make my life easier I’ll address it’ moment. I think Madara has truly come to care for the people who surround Natsume all on his own – he has grown so much, too. 🥰 What can I say? Ta-nu-ma! Ta-nu-ma! 😂 Looking forward to next week! 💜

2025-08-28 07:33:07 +0000 UTCThe ending song "Star wink" by Anly is one of my favorite anime song of all time, and the lyrics are BEAUTIFUL i really advise you to re listen to it and focus on the lyrics because what an amazing song, for me this song and its lyrics express the natsume atmosphere with perfection.
