I thought last episode was a critical emotional point, but this episode brings it RIGHT back! It was so fun seeing our girls taking the first leg of their journey together to Australia, but seeing Shirase and Hinata character development together?! LOVE. This one almost got me, y'all!

I just love Kimari’s sweetness! And seeing Shirase and Hinata bonding was NOT on my bucket list but it was SO great! I love the complexities of these characters! And seeing how they are so different but work together so well was great! You all realize...that was YEARS ago that I watched The Great Pretender, right? :P I don't think I would randomly remember a landmark shown for one episode in a show that I watched years ago - honestly, unless I had looked it up specifically, I would have never known. I just knew they were going to Australia, Singapore was NEVER mentioned as part of the traveling, and all the English on the signs made me think it was Australia as well. So yeah, thanks for the comment and info, though.

2025-06-07 13:00:37 +0000 UTCWeekly warming and inspiring sensibility of Kimari, and we also find out a skill of Yutsuki, that’s you can’t hide anything from her. But the most important thing is that one of my favourite passport event is finally here, and I cry for that one million dollars move and the rest of Shirase’s quotes again. Such an important episode for Shirase and Hinata. They get close to each other a little more, and we get to know part of Hinata’s backstory and also explain a little bit what makes her personality this way. She’s quite straight but always stuck in a complex relationship or emotion of other people, so she learn to hold back now, and that’s what we have already seen a lot from the passed episodes, being a brake for this group, especially for the impulse of Shirase. And that’s why I love it, that’s the opposite of Shirase, she’s straight too. Always being alone in her growth makes her strong and not care too much about others’ feelings, it's not a bad thing but sometimes too cold. But she meets these girls, getting a lot of support she never had has already changed her slowly and make her starting to consider more about others' feelings, that’s why now she could face Hinata straight and pull her out of her place. The bonding is just so perfect. Also this is the moment I started the ship of Shirase and Hinata, I love these two so much.
