REMOVING RINAKO
Added 2025-01-23 03:53:52 +0000 UTCHEY EVERYONE! I'm assuming you've seen (or will eventually see) the call-out post on Twitter pointing out that Rinako was based off of a real japanese kid.
Back when I designed her, I looked at the picture and made the absolutely IMBECILIC decision of basing her clothes and hair off of her. For so long I deluded myself thinking "oh it's not really her so it's fine!".
Yes, she might not "be" the real person, but the similarities are striking, and seeing it from another perspective (the post), I realized just how utterly creepy it was.
I've decided "fuck that", I'm not continuing this, and scrubbed off EVERYTHING regarding Rinako.
I'm not making a mistake like that once more, I was a massive moron, never again.

I'll support you when I get the chance, this a good response and glad you're learning from your mistake. You don't need to take a break, go to a "professional", or atone for your sins. That's not going to help anybody except one guy unless you actually feel the need to do so.

Just, whatever happens, find a way to properly right these wrongs. I am disappointed, but based on how you're acting right now about these things, plus your willingness to voice your own thoughts on what to do to a stranger here, it shows that you do genuinely care about wanting to fix this, and I hope you are able to. God speed man, just heed my advice to take a step back from porn to reevaluate your moral compass a bit more. You forgot just how damaging it can be to reference real life people in drawings without their consent. Especially children. With a good break in between you can iron out all these depraved intrusive thoughts that cross your mind, and better differentiate reality and fiction. Thanks for hearing me out.

More people need to see this if you truly want to purge this mistake from your online presence, and even then it's gonna be a long, long road for you to break away from. Again, I'm happy you are at the very least, taking the steps to atone for this creepy stuff, but it's like I said: it should've never been a situation you needed to end up in in the first place. Take a long, good break from porn, talk to a professional about this stuff, and turn your whole thought process and inner workings around. Because if you went and did something as egregious as this, who knows what else you would've fallen down to had you not been shown how creepy you were becoming. I still think you're a good artist. I still like the asses you draw, but right now, at your current state, I can't support what you've been doing. Please make an effort to get help for this type of thinking, and come back a better person than this.

Does Shadman ring a bell? He was the primary catalyst to show exactly why this stuff is never okay, and I don't know how you went a whole year convincing yourself it was different when, granted, it's alot more severe than what shad did, as you deliberately kept the original reference for this oc hidden from the public only until AFTER someone caught you and had to explain why it was wrong in the post. And again, I can't stress this enough, you literally made the first introductory artwork of her with the age play dialogue. The FIRST work of her and it references pedophilia. Either you were just playing dumb for that, or you genuinely have something wrong in that head of yours to not make a parallel to what you were making at the start. Either way, take a break from porn, and post this response to your twitter-

We're already in the skeevy side of the internet for liking/making this kinda content in the first place and I don't think much beyond therapy will change our tastes. The important thing is keeping it separate from reality and if this is how you do that I can't complain. Just a little sad the character is gone forever when her pics still remain some of my favourites

2025-01-23 10:26:35 +0000 UTCHonestly, as someone who really did love your art and wanted to support you after I got a more stable source of income, I can't stand by that anymore man. What the fuck. It's one thing to go and look at a petite older woman and base a loli character off of her looks, but to go scout for an actual kid, to go download pictures of her for refs, and then to design an entire "oc" of her looks down to the goddamn minute details like the socks, shoes, and bagginess of the sweater, and then go for nearly a whole YEAR of making art of her without seeing ANYTHING wrong with it until that post was made, is disgusting. It's one thing to go and play into the height differences of chars, that's fine. It's one thing to go into age play and pedophilic dialogue, it's weird imo but it's all towards fictional chars so it doesn't matter. But to do these things with the likeness of an actual kid, ESPECIALLY with the pedophilic dialogue in some of the art as well... that's not something anyone can defend.
