As I mentioned earlier, I kept three keywords in mind as I worked.

The crow's intelligent, cheerful, and sparkly.

These crows 'borrowed' hats from somewhere...

They are all having a happy party time looking at the sparkling crystal ball 😌

1. Drawing process GIF!

First, I completed the still image.

For compatibility with the crow icon pack, I completed two background versions.

(I added a bird shadow to the light version.)

I had planned to add animation effects from the beginning ✨

The reflective lights make it look even more mystical – perfect for the spooky season. And since it also gives off a party vibe, it's perfect for the end of the year, too 🥂

This is a GIF I made to test the speed.

I think I edited it about 5-7 times. It was too fast...! I used about 8 frames...

I decided I needed to use a bit more frames for the final version.

I used six frames to express the shimmering effects of light and shadow,

and 12 frames to make the crystal ball sparkle.

The heart shape inside the crystal ball pulsates like a heartbeat.

Speed seems much more stable than when I first tested it :)

I also added some movement to the crow.

It's blinking, shaking its head, and moving its feet and wings.

I used about 13 frames for the reflective effect.

Now I'm going to add some light reflecting off the crow's body and hat..

I've been playing Hades 2 lately, so I'm really into witchy vibes lol (the game is set in the underworld, and the player is a witch). So, I had a lot of fun working on this one. As you know, I had another sketch for the Witchy crow, and I might finish that one this month. (If I don't finish it this month, I probably won't finish it at all 😂 It will go into the unfinished sketches folder, and the future of the sketches in that folder is... ) Hmm...so once I have one~two more related drawings, maybe I can making a new dark background crow theme for the galaxy theme. - Spooky season will be over by then, but witches are active 365 days a year : Of course, it's not 100% certain yet, so it's subject to change 😅 Because I'm also considering other animals... 🤔
