Animated GIF vs Static stickers

Here are the voting results for January.

I saw that most people liked both and that GIFs were still preferred. It was nice to hear the reasons for those who prefer static through the comments.

I collected the amphibians and reptiles I drew, and there were quite a lot. I don't understand why I haven't made a sticker pack yet myself 😂 (There would be even more if I included doodles, but I excluded them because the art style is different.) I haven't been making new apps for years, so I'm thinking of making an Animated GIF sticker pack this time 🤔 This time, I did this because I had some pre-made GIFs, but after next time, it would be good to create the static first and then add the GIFs in the future...?

1. Green Iguana

It's a green iguana, but it's brown. At that time, the concept was chocolate, so I drew all the reptiles in chocolate color.

I drew it on Valentine's Day in 2020. It's been 5 years now... I see some things to fix, so I'm making various corrections. I'm planning to update the GIFs that still have a strong food feel to the pikaole's dessert pack later.

It's definitely 'green' now. (I'm re-drawing while listening to Wicked)

I like the relaxed expression of the iguana, so I modified the face a bit.

2. Leopard Gecko

I drew the leaves like ribbons as decorations on the chocolate.

It's cute, but I feel like it's unnecessary, so I'm going to get rid of it.

Personally, I like the face I drew in 2020 too. I even made a wooden pin with that drawing. Some of you might like the old version better.

For example, if you think about movies or animations that are being remade... 😂

3. Cuvier's Dwarf Caiman

This is what I wanted to fix the most in the Choco Raptile series. I felt like it lacked the crocodile feel.

I'll probably see a lot more things to fix when I look at it again later, but anyway, I like the fixed version a lot more 😎

4. Blue Tongue Skink 

I modified the face and color to give it a more Blue Tongue Skink feel.

But the expression is a little weak..

This is a bit better.

It's rare for me to redraw a past work 😁

5. Forest tree frog

Adding more emotion to the frog drawing I did a while ago would be useful for conversation.

It went from just a frog with its mouth open to a frog that burps~

This additional work will make it usable in more situations.

The frog's name is Ruby Eye, I emphasized its sparkling eyes.

Here's a modified version for sticker pack.

The frog looks more excited.

The frog calling is mostly for mating, but it can also mean warning.

I tried to express an angry frog and a frog in love :)
