[drawing] Forest tree frog (big-eyed frogs)

Maybe it's because spring is coming.
Here, the frogs that hibernate in winter wake up in March.
It's been a while since I've drawn a frog.

I've drawn it a lot, so it's one of the animals that's easy for me to draw.
But since it's been a while since I've drawn it, I need to do some croquis...
Here is the animal I've been fascinated with recently...Ruby-eyed Tree Frog.
So I did some sketches of the Leptopelis family that the frog belongs to.
I personally really like animals with big eyes, but people can be scared of big eyes.
I love frog feet and their well-trained hind legs.
But one of the most distinctive features of this frog is its large eyes, and I'm fascinated by them. It's really cute when they open their eyes half-closed and then widen them wide. Hmm... I might have to add some animation effects to express this...?
If I draw the feet as smaller, the large eyes might stand out more.
I have a few other sketches in progress at the same time, so I might finish another drawing first, but anyway, it was nice to draw some frogs after a long time!
