When I research ghost crab, I watched a video of a red ghost crab, and I thought the way its eyes changed was so fascinating. The way they move their long eyes is so cute that I wanted to make a gif of this.
At this stage, I have a rough idea of how I'm going to animate it. With this in mind I separate the layers. Animating requires additional work to separate joints and draw all overlapping layers.
The 12 crabs were worked one by one in this way and put back together~
I plan to update them on iMessage and Giphy~

2023-11-09 05:34:51 +0000 UTCI hope it's available in Korea because it's a very good book--Ed Yong's book An Immense World gets into this! If I remember correctly, because of how their brains are, they don't process all the colors together like a human would be able to.
