The Weekend 0.1.10 Bugfix Update

Hey guys, no new content today, but I wanted to get a bugfix update out that should take care of everything that's been reported so far in the bug chat channel. Special thanks to haarp, SilverS, grumpy stiltskin, Alex, and Jonah M for the unending task of catching all my mistakes! Some of you have been reporting typos since the very first release, and the game wouldn't be what it is without you.

I've removed the old version to save space. Here's the new link:

September Update

Unfortunately I won't have a game update ready for you guys before the end of the month. I've got some travel coming up, and realistically I won't be able to devote much time to writing. Next month I should be back at it. I'd like to get a new content update out in October, but there will at least be a bugfix update! I will not charge you guys for updates that just contain bugfixes for existing content, only for new stuff.

Also, I wanted to remind my handful of Art Critic patrons to send in your requests for illustrations! I try to include at least as many illustrations per release as there are subscribers at this tier, and if you don't want to pick one specifically I'm happy to just pick one myself. But the option is available if there's a specific thing you want to see me tackle next.

Much love!

The Weekend v2 0.1.10 alpha 1

At last, here it is! This update has been a long time coming, and has quite a lot of new content. I honestly don't remember exactly where the new stuff starts, but there is quite a bit on each of the branches. The biggest updates are probably adventure with Tobias and investigate with Amelia and Hayden, which both have pretty substantial new sections. There's a little more with Sophie and Tim as well, and less for the modeling branch which I'm still struggling a bit with. There's also a little more art here and there, and some small fixes to outstanding bugs and such.

There's a lot of plot development as well, and some pretty substantial mysteries are revealed (or at least hinted)!

Old saves should work, although there may be one or two new variables that are set earlier in the story to track your choices, so if you use an old save there may be bugs depending on what path you take. I would recommend starting a fresh playthrough.

Next version should come a lot quicker! I'm going to attempt monthly updates, but depending on real-life that may or may not happen.

Anyway, enough blathering. Hope you enjoy!

Mumblings and Rumblings

Hey everyone! I wanted to give an update on where I am and what I've been up to if you're curious. To get the most important stuff out of the way first, no, I do not have a new release of The Weekend for you guys yet. Sorry about that. But! I do have one in the works, and it's a pretty big honker of an update. So hopefully that will mitigate some of the sting.

I am planning on releasing The Weekend 0.1.10 at the end of August, and hopefully sooner. This update will have major mystery resolutions and big plot developments, which is one reason it's taken freakin' forever. I'm giving myself a deadline so that I have to at least acknowledge if it sails by. Maybe that will help motivate me to get it out the door! Time will tell.

Now, for some less exciting news...I am not sure how exactly Patreon and this "industry" have changed since I was last active, so bear with me while I navigate our brave new world, where puritanical forces attack us poor, defenseless smut peddlers from the shadows, forcing us to do things like verify our identities and only write about very specific types of people kissing each other. If I end up charging you money on accident please yell at me until it stops. I'm pretty sure I can continue to only charge when I actually release things, but I haven't tried it yet so I can't say for sure. Just know that's the goal!

And finally, I just want to send out some love and positivity to you as we all try to collectively survive this aforementioned time of troubles. I don't have any real words of wisdom or answers, but just know that there are other people everywhere who have empathy for their fellow humans, despite what the misery industrial complex is screaming at all hours of the day. I'm going to try to be more active here and post more regularly, so feel free to reach out, even if you just want to tell me what you had for lunch today (I had a sandwich).

Talk to you all soon!

Not Exciting Update

Hey guys, sorry to disappoint but no new content! I did get my computer sorted out and I've been dipping back into creating, but nothing to show yet. However, I did want to let you guys know about my website situation. Apparently I lost my tufty.games domain a while back (thanks Amazon), so I've moved the site over to tufty-games.com. Everything is still there, it's just a new domain. Any old links from old posts will work, you'll just need to fix the URL.

Anyways, hope everyone is well! I'll let you guys know when I have something more exciting to share ;)

Where's Tufty?

Hey guys, quick update on The Weekend and me.  I posted this over on the tfgames forum, but I wanted to post here too.

It's  been a while since I put anything out, for a variety of reasons, but the  primary villain is my PC finally bit the dust a while back.  While I don't use it for writing, I do use it for artwork, which was often how I would draw myself back into working on the project.  Without that spark it was difficult to make much progress, so I took a step back which has turned into an extended break.  My work/life balance has also shifted, and much of the time I previously spent writing has been filled with other things.  It definitely feels like there just aren't enough hours in the day.

I have plans to replace my art PC when it becomes financially responsible to do so, hopefully sooner rather than later.  I don't want to promise the floodgates will suddenly open when that happens, but there is a good chance I'll restart my work on this project when I can draw again or sometime soon after.  It's heartwarming that people still  play and enjoy the game despite it's age and unfinished state, and I'd really like to complete it for you guys some day.  I'm also still excited to work on the side projects I posted about, and hopefully some of that work will see the light of day!

Anyway, just wanted to pop in and let everyone know I am still alive, and although I don't have any new work to show for my extended break, there is still a good chance I'll be adding more to Casey's story at some point in the future.  Thanks for the continued interest and support, especially those of you who have remained subscribers for so long!

Also, if/when I do have something to release for paid subscribers, I'll be sure to post an announcement well beforehand in case any subscriber's financial situation has changed and they need to cancel before getting charged.

Much love <3

Side Project Pitch #4: Spells of Change

This is a long one, so bear with me.  The easiest way to describe this idea is "witchy life/household simulator."  Which is not super clear, so let me explain a little more.  The concept grew from ya girl's personal life recently, which has involved a lot of house-person activities due to her stay-at-home work situation.  I say house-person, because in my house (and any simulated ones I create) everybody who lives in a house is a house-person.  I don't want your housewife or househusband bullshit, or (god forbid) any maid fuckery.  Everybody contributes!

With that as the overall feel of the game, we take the idea of a witch-in-training main character (you) who progresses through a series of witches' households, being a house-person and learning witchcraft as they go.  There is going to be more stat-driven "gameplay" in this than The Weekend or most of the other pitches, even (dangerously) approaching life-sim territory.  However, I don't like games that are a ocean-wide and puddle-deep, so my life sim is going to simplified into a more CYOA structure (but still tending towards sandbox territory).  Depending on the household you're in at that point in the story, you'll pick from 1-4 options for each part of the day: morning, afternoon, and evening.  If you choose to sleep late in the morning you can do a night activity, and if you get up early you get an early-morning activity (so you always get 4 activities per day).

Each activity may have some story attached, or it could have a skill improvement, or some combination of the two.  So, for example, if I'm staying at the bakery, I can choose to spend my morning making the bread to be sold that afternoon.  This choice will give me some skill advancement in baking, plus some friendship with the baker witch, and progress the story along with her as the two of you chat while making bread.  Then in the afternoon you could choose to help her sell the bread you made, go deliver some to another character in town, or just study in the library if you're more introverted.  Each of these options would progress the relevant storyline and give you skill points related to what you learn while doing so.  Either way, friendship, magic, romance, drama, sex, and all sorts of things await your young witch in training!

As far as the story itself goes...I've got some fun plans.  The game takes place in a New England adjacent fantasy world, because I want the sharply delineated seasons for storytelling reasons (snowball fights!  hot summer days!  halloween!), and there's simply lot of witchy energy in that kind of setting.  The story will be small-scale, centered around a single community and the troubles and triumphs therein.  Throughout the course of the game you'll be introduced to and then join the households of several (probably three) witches in the local coven.  The witches provide various services to the community and live their lives among the townspeople, trying to help where they can.  And each of them will need your help in their own unique ways.  There may be some friction with the town patriarchy at various points of the game, for example, and you will be called upon to provide certain women-oriented services to people in need at one point or another.  But overall the story will be about helping the community dispel some evil and dangerous supernatural things that you will uncover over the course of the game, using the skills and spells you master as you go.  As only a witch can.

Also...I'm going to try to whip up some javascript minigames for this one, like for gathering herbs, cooking, and casting spells.  I'm not promising they'll be super polished, but I can promise that I will at least attempt a masturbation minigame.  I feel like that alone should get 100% of the votes for this pitch, but I'm probably biased.

Side Project Pitch #3: Untitled Cosplay Game

This game is another CYOA in the vein of The Weekend.  The main character (you) is an effeminate guy, or tomboy girl (same avatar either way) who's never felt comfortable in their own skin.  His or her twin sister is a cosplayer, but she's gotten sick during "Bae-con" and won't be able to debut her new cosplay.  It's a huge opportunity because the showrunner for the big new primo crossover magical girl anime project is going to be there, and if she can do an awesome cosplay of one of the main characters she can get tons of publicity.

So she asks...will you do it instead?  Obviously you have to say yes, because otherwise there's no game.  So off you go with your squad of three other guys that you usually go to conventions with.  Traditionally, since hotel rooms are so expensive, you all pitch in on one.  To help with the actual cosplay part, your sister has enlisted her cosplayer friends who are also going to the convention to guide you.  Once you agree, she gives you her costume and tells you to wear it well.

Encouraged by everyone, you're fully onboard...until the morning of the con.  After putting on the costume you're riding the hotel elevator down to the convention hall when you see yourself in the mirror and have a breakdown.  There's no way you can pretend to be this character!  You tell your friends to go on without you, and they reluctantly agree.  You stay in the elevator, intending to return to the room and hide.

However, as the elevator empties, one other cosplayer stays with you.  She's a witch, and you're getting her help whether you want it or not.  She casts a spell on your costume, transforming your body to look like the character's as long as you're wearing it, then disappears.

When you enter the convention hall in front all the other guests, the showrunner, and your friends (old and new), you'll be a hot, sexy, cosplay babe.  And as long as you stay in the costume, you'll stay one.  And by the end of the convention you'll have to decide whether or not your new cosplay babe persona is more than just clothing-deep.

Reminder: After the last pitch, Patrons will get to vote on which side project I take on (along with continued development of The Weekend as my main focus).

Side Project Pitch #2: Accidental Succubus

I've been playing around with various succubus story ideas, since they're such good fodder for sexy TG games.  As usual for me, though, I want to do something different than the usual, which is the standard "succubus turned me into a girl!" story.  First of all, I really want to do a game where you play as the succubus, but not the usual cum-addict evil succubus.

In this game, you're a low-level, female demon who has never been to earth yourself.  Instead, you're an intern in a soul-harvesting office, who just got transferred to the highly competitive Mortal Interactions department.  You end up assigned to a real bitch of a boss, who dislikes you so much that she decides to sabotage you.  So, when two lonely human losers on Earth attempt to summon a succubus because they can't get any chicks, your boss causes you to  "accidentally" go through the portal in an attempt to get you fired (literally).

From here it gets Weird Science-y.  After the initial summoning, you realize that if you help the two boys become more confident in themselves, they'll become more valuable souls.  Then you can harvest them and show your superiors that you're a better succubus than your bitch of a boss, all while clearing your name with Mortal Interactions.  However, you'll have to play the part of the sexy "older" woman, all while guiding the two boys through a series of difficult situations.  Even though you've only ever seeing Earth or humans on demon TV!  Oh, and your boss is going to be actively attempting to sabotage your efforts so you can't go over her horns to her superiors.

Now, it's possible that by the end of the story you won't want to consume the two boy's souls for some reason.  But maybe you'll discover some magic while you're on earth that could transform your possibilities.  Or even somebody else's...

This project will be significantly more game-y than The Weekend, with more stats and things that determine the outcome of each event and the game itself.  The tone will be light (John Hughes-y) and cartoonish, with lots of silly sexual tension (and actual sex, of course).  Structure-wise the story is going to be centered around several unavoidable climactic events, although there will be multiple paths through them depending on your stats and decisions.  I mean...there has to be a huge house party at the end, right?

Remember, I'll be creating a poll after the last pitch for patrons to vote on which project I work on next (in addition to The Weekend)!  Let me know what you guys think in the comments!

Side Project Pitch #1: Dreamgirl

Hey lovelies.  Like I mentioned in the previous post, I'm going to be starting work on one side project, in addition to continuing work on The Weekend.  The side project shouldn't affect work on The Weekend, so don't worry about that!  However, I would like your help on deciding which one to work on, so over the next few days I'm going to be pitching each idea to you guys, and then at the end I'll post a poll so patrons can vote on their favorite(s).  Unless otherwise specified the games will be using Twine/Sugarcube.

Dreamgirl

In this near-future game, you take the role of an anonymous gig-worker, who "sculpts" digital assets for VR worlds.  You receive a job to create some human models for a virtual chalet for an ultra-rich client, and after finishing your work you get one last surprise assignment: create your "dreamgirl."

After completing the sculpt, you fall asleep while jacked in, and when you wake up you're in the simulation...and in the body of your dreamgirl!  Somehow unable to exit the simulation, you're forced to navigate the chalet and its denizens while keeping your sense of reality intact.  Unsure of who is "real" and who is just an AI, you have to step carefully to avoid arousing suspicion.  But just how deep are you willing to submerge into the hedonistic life of this dreamgirl to avoid being discovered?  Because you've either stumbled into one of the most tactile and realistic simulations ever made, or there's something very strange going on...

The Weekend v2 0.1.9 alpha 2

Oh hello.  Long time no see.

Well, as much as I didn't want to, I ended up taking an extended semi-hiatus from this project.  Usually I would manage one or two passages every week or so, but it was really tough to get any momentum going.  I wish I had a specific reason or cause so I could avoid it in the future, but I think it's just a combination of writer's block, personal stuff, and the world going to shit.  Let's be real, it's challenging to feel inspired when it feels like the very worst people in the world are making more and more progress every single day in their never ending campaign to ruin everything.

So I decided to start back at the beginning and just do illustrations until I felt enough of a connection to the story and characters to work on the writing part.  So I won't pretend this some monumental release...there's a chunk of new story that's essentially a bridge between Casey returning to Amelia's house and then deciding where to go next (in this case, it's Sophie's party).  There's 8 new illustrations, all towards the beginning, plus a handful of new character avatars.  I also redid some styling of the game and switched all the images to webp, which cuts down on the file size quite a bit even though there's more pictures.  I tried some new stuff with some of the illustrations (like first-person view!) so let me know if it works or not.  If you're at the tier to request illustrations and want one of your future requests to be first-person, let me know that as well.

So there you go!  I'm going to try to get regular releases going again, so send me some positive vibes if you have any.  I'm also very aware that I'm over my 2 game donation milestone.  I've got a handful of side projects that are in varying degrees of readiness to share with you guys, and I hope to get at least one in a releasable state soon.  Maybe I'll put together a teaser for each one so you guys can vote for your favorite.

Phew, that's a lot!  Anyway, I hope you enjoy the release :)

P.S.  If you in any way support the U.S. Supreme Court's decision to strip millions of women of their fundamental rights, you can fuck right off a cliff.  Please unsubscribe and never come back.  I hope you burn in whatever hell you believe is the most painful.  Thanks!

For everyone else, I hope this brings a tiny bit of joy to your day.  Much love!

The Weekend v2 0.1.9 alpha 1

Why hello again, long time no see!  Don't worry, I've been banging away and have another release of The Weekend!  I really wanted to get this in before the end of November for you guys.

This isn't quite a large as the last one, but there's new content on the Tobias path, as well as the beginnings of the Elias one.  Both are significantly different than in v1, so if you weren't a fan of them before please take a look and let me know what you think.  If you were a fan before, hopefully you'll like the changes I've made too ;)

There's also 5(!) new illustrations in this one, sponsored as always by our awesome Art Critics!  There's a good mix this time around: three new Friday ones and two in the section where Casey and Hayden explore the bath house.  If you want specifics, feel free to shoot me a PM and I'll give you the exact locations.

Another big thing that's happened is we've somehow gotten above the $500 tier!  I honestly didn't think that was ever going to happen, so now I've got to figure out how I'm going to do two games at once.  I'll be doing another post or two soon about that, so stay tuned!  And a big THANK YOU to everyone, seriously it's always so inspiring and humbling that you guys continue to support me and my work.

Without further ado, here is the latest release: https://tufty.games/games/weekend-v2-0.1.9-p1-rxv01rniqv.html

The Weekend v2 0.1.8 alpha 1

Hey lovely peoples!  New release today, yay!  This one has quite a bit in it, so I hope you guys enjoy.  Storywise I put a temporary pause on Sophie so we could spend some time with Tobias, Amelia, and Hayden.  I've added the first section to both Tobias's branch and Amelia/Hayden's.  Both of them are entirely rewritten from v1, so I'm excited to hear what you guys think.

In addition we have 4 new illustrations, 3 of which were commissioned by our always amazing Art Critics.  As always, if you want to see a particular passage illustrated you can bump up to the Art Critic tier then let me know what you'd like to see.

Since we have more illustrations I added a Gallery to the menu, so you can see the illustrations that you've visited.  After you visit the appropriate passage in the game, the illustration will appear in the gallery.  I'd rather not spoil where they all are, but if you really can't find them send me a PM and I can list them for you.  Along with the new illustrations, I also redid a handful of avatars that were bugging me, because I can't leave well enough alone.

I've also started reworking the characters page.  Eventually it will have all the characters along with any avatar images you've seen from them so far, but I didn't quite finish that in time for this release.

As always, send me any feedback in the usual places.  And send me your illustration requests for the next release so I can get on those sooner rather than later.

The Weekend v2 0.1.7 alpha 1-3

Well I missed June, but I finally managed to wrap up the cliff jumping section.  The next part of that branch will be a big decision point, so my plan is to swap to another branch for the next update.  It will probably be the Hayden/Amelia branch due to its popularity, but I may also do a little on the Tobias and/or Elias ones.  Just because I feel like we haven't seen them in a while.

This version includes the first of the illustrations, commissioned by our amazing Art Critics!  For those of you who are at the Art Critic tier for this release, be sure to PM me your illustration requests for the next release!  If I don't hear from you, I'll reach out after a few days to make sure I don't miss anybody.  I'd like to get the requests in early so I have time to work on the illustrations.

Edit: Fixed some incorrect passage skips, thanks Liter Knight!  The link has been updated to p2.

Edit 2: Fixed another couple issues, thanks GiantRobotCat, Iji, and Frankie Diamond for the bug reports!

Beach Bums

Hey everyone, I hope you're enjoying your summers.  Apologies for the long hiatus, it wasn't planned but just sort of happened.  I've been dealing with some pretty severe burnout lately from the ol' day job, so I haven't been able to get much writing done.  I'd much rather this post was a big surprise update, but unfortunately you'll have to make due with some art instead.  It's been super difficult to write lately, but drawing has been a lot easier.  In fact, I finished the sponsored illustrations for the next update a while ago, but the words have proven to be much more elusive.

As you can see, I've also been working on avatars for characters that don't have one yet, as well as redoing a couple that always bother me when I see them.  I hope you guys are happy with them when you see them in action, and I really hope my amazing Art Critics like the illustrations they picked!  All of that will be in the next update when it's finally done.

I still have a few days left in June, so fingers crossed I can wrap up the cliff jumping scene that I've been stuck on.  If you have any positive vibes to send my way it'd be much appreciated.

The Weekend v2 0.1.6 alpha 1

Hey it's me, sliding into your DMs on the last day of the month again.  Here's the next section of Sophie's branch, plus a little minor editing of some of the earlier passages.  This one goes all the way up to the actual cliff jumping.

This release also has placeholders for illustrations.  Yay!  If you're a $20 tier patron, please pick one and DM me the passage name and I'll add it to the list.  Remember, to see the placeholders you need to go to Settings, then toggle "Show illustrations" to on.  My goal is to get patron illustrations done per release, but we all know how Tufty's planning goes.  Otherwise this release is a bust on artwork, as I haven't had time to sit down and do any of it!  So expect NPC avatar placeholders and some re-using of Casey avatars.  Don't worry, all that will be cleaned up eventually (fingers crossed).

I had planned on switching branches for the next release, but I think I'll wrap up the cliff jumping with Sophie first, and then probably switch to Amelia/Hayden.  As always, let me know what you think!

Requesting Illustrations

Hey guys, this post is mostly for those of you at the $20 tier, but I wanted to share it with everyone in case others are interested in upping their pledges ;)

Starting in the next release there will be a new toggle in the settings popup for showing illustrations.  For this version it will start as toggled off, because there aren't illustrations yet!  However, when you toggle it on you'll start to see a placeholder image in many of the passages.  This placeholder represents a spot where a $20 patron can request an illustration.

After a release, $20 patrons can send me the passage they want illustrated, using the passage name that's display when you turn debug mode on.  For example, if someone wants the passage where Casey tries on the party dress, they would say "Tufty, I'd like '15-dress-shop' illustrated please!"  Then in the next release there would magically be a new illustration there, and hopefully the $20 tier patron would feel a sense of accomplishment and happiness for contributing their hard-earned money to the project ;)  New illustration requests will always be after a new release, and will be included in the release after.  If I can't get to your illustration before the release, I'll add it to the backlog and replace the placeholder image with one indicating that the illustration in question is already in progress.

Also, if the patron so desires, I'll include a hover or something similar with their name on the illustration.  I haven't quite worked out what that will be yet, but it would be subtle so it's not distracting, and I'd only include it if the patron requests it.

Happy to hear any feedback from you guys!

What's Next?

Now that we've gotten a little further with Sophie, I thought it might be fun to see if anybody's preference for what storyline they would like to see has changed.  Considering how much Sophie's branch dominated last time I'm expecting a similar result, but I always like to check in with you lovely people anyway!  I'm doing one response per person, but feel free to leave a comment as well if you'd like to rank what you're most interested in.

The Weekend v2 0.1.5 alpha 1

Here it is!  I'm releasing v2 0.1.4 publicly, and here's the latest alpha of the next version for you guys.  This has the next section of the Sophie branch.  I've changed some things around a bit for v2.  I think it works a lot better this way, but let me know what you guys think!

Check In

Hey folks, just checking in for the first time in 2021.  I can't say I really meant to, but I ended up taking a bit of a break over the holidays (hence the lack of a release in December).  I kept telling myself I'd be able to get a new version out, but the days kept slipping...and here we are.

With that said, I'll definitely have something for you guys this month, preferably before the witching hour of the 31st.  The next update will include the first section of Sophie's branch.  I've made some changes to it this time around, and I'm excited to hear what you guys think since I know it was many reader's favorite path.

Hope everyone had a good holiday, and let's hope we're all around to celebrate another one next year.  Much love to all you guys!

The Weekend v2 0.1.4 alpha 1

Here it is!  This release is the setup for the four main branches I have planned for Saturday.  I'd love to hear any feedback you guys have on the flow here, because after this the game mostly splits into separate stories.  I'd like each branch to be relatively straightforward to find, but also to make sense with what's happened so far.

I haven't finished all the artwork yet, so Tim's avatar is missing and the other characters all have the same look as Friday.  I'll get that fixed in the next update, promise.  Also, this update doesn't have any real sexy times since it's mostly setup for the rest of Saturday.  Don't worry, things will get hot and heavy for our hero/heroine soon enough!

Enjoy ;)

Link: http://tufty.games/games/weekend-v2-0.1.4-p1a.html

Quick Edit: I forgot to mention that there's now a "Show debug" toggle in the settings menu.  If you see a bug or typo, turn debug mode on and you'll see the name of the passage that's being displayed in red at the top.  If you can send that passage name to me with your report it will make my life a lot easier!

Another Edit: I made some bug fixes for version p1a, biggest one is fixing the Friday night dream sequence.  Only one option for the first section was getting shown, there should be three different scenes for the first section depending on your path Friday evening.

Update Soon!

Hey everyone, just wanted to drop a quick note to say the next release is almost finished.  I'm hoping to have it to you guys in the next few days.  I'm planning on having the "setup" content for Saturday in this release.  It will take Casey from waking up Saturday to the start of each of the main branches.  After that, I'll start with Sophie's branch (since that was the winner of the poll a while back) and probably complete the cliff diving section before working on the other branches.  The cliff diving won't be radically different than in v1, but I do have a few new twists and surprises planned for you guys ;)

I'll also be releasing the previous Patreon version publicly at that point.

The Weekend v2 0.1.3 alpha1

I was pretty far over my target release date with this one, but my day job has been redonkuluz with a capital everything lately, and the last thing I've wanted to do in the evenings is sit at my computer to write.  So thanks for the patience!

This release contains Casey dreaming during Friday night, then a little of Saturday morning.  It's very linear,  which may annoy some of you, so I apologize in advance for that.  I may add more branching options to the dream sequences...but on the other hand it's unlikely that Casey is a lucid dreamer, so I might just use that as an excuse and leave it as-is.

Enjoy!  And as always, send me any bugs, typos, thoughts, complaints, etc. here or come slide into my DMs you sexy beasts.

Starting Saturday

Now that Friday of The Weekend is publicly released I've started to plan Saturday more concretely.  Now, spoiler alert, but as you may have already guessed, Casey does not actually change back into a boy on Saturday morning.  Shocker, I know!

Don't worry, there will be an entirely new dream sequence before we get to Saturday morning, which I'm working on now.  But I wanted to let you wonderful people have some say in what path gets the first release for Saturday.

If you've been following my ramblings on v2 of the game, you may be aware that I've consolidated the disparate storylines into what I feel are the most popular and narratively interesting branches as follows:

  • Reverse the curse with Amelia and Hayden
  • Uncover the mystery with Tobias
  • Have fun with Sophie and her friends
  • Take a risk and find Elias

Each branch is more or less represented in v1, but don't assume they will play out the same.  Tobias's branch is getting a significant rework so it has an actual plot, while Sophie's will probably not be too much different as far as plot points go but will be rewritten.  Reversing the curse with Amelia and Hayden is basically an entirely new storyline (taking the good bits from the Amelia/Hayden scenes in v1), where Hayden is an actual character that helps drive the plot rather than a "bonus" that shows up if you pick certain options.  Elias's branch will also see some significant restructuring to get rid of the "filler" content and give Casey more to do.

So...what would you guys like to see first?

The Weekend v2 0.1.2

Here's the conclusion of Friday.  Sorry this one took longer than I thought it would.  Hopefully the future versions come a little quicker.

If you played v1 (which I'm assuming most of you have), you'll notice some changes in this version.  I hope they are for the better!  If you have any feedback or bugs or general thoughts, as always, I love to hear it in DMs or replies.

Thanks for the support!

Quick Update

I'm close to wrapping up the planned Friday content, but I'm struggling a bit with some of the steamy bits and my day job has been extra busy so it's taking longer than I expected.  Still aiming to release by the end of June!

Done Moving

Well, I'm a little embarrassed.  I didn't mention that I was moving cross country at the end of July, because I didn't think it was going to impact the release...but obviously I drastically underestimated how much of my time moving-related things were going to take up.

Anyway, the good news is that I'm back in business and should have the next v2 release up soon.  Thanks for the patience everyone :)

Edit: Yes, I meant May, not July ;)
