[wip] Lovebird
Added 2020-07-09 02:07:14 +0000 UTCWhen I found out about the lovebird species, I thought there would be 100 kinds of them.
They were all nine species and I realized that the other colorful birds I knew were mutation of fischers, masked and rosy face!
Because they're famous as a couple, I decided to draw like this.
Draw the head and body first, and then...
Draw faces, wings, tails, and legs :D
I've trimmed the contour of head shape little.
I feel a parrot's head is slightly square? than any other bird.
I think it's because of their beak/skull shape.

They are mostly green in real nature and the colorful blue birds I knew was breeds by people.
The internet said that the blue mutation was actually first found in nature😯!
Species and color mutation
1. Grey-headed lovebird, Fischer's lovebird(blue and wild), Black-winged lovebird
2. Yellow-collared lovebird (masked lovebird, cobalt and turquoise), Red-headed lovebird, Fischer's lovebird(albino and lutino, Sable mauve and violet pied)
3. Yellow-collared lovebird (wild), Black-cheeked lovebird, Lilian's lovebird, Black-collared lovebird,Rosy-faced lovebird (lutino, wild and turquoise)
It was fun to draw various birds from tit to parrot!
Now, I'll moving on to the fish, prepare to study shark :D

2020-07-10 14:17:56 +0000 UTCPicking a favorite shark is hard. I love them all. I really like the goblin shark because of their cute noses. I like the hammerhead as a good classic shark. And the cookie cutter shark is small and cute. But all sharks make me happy!

The list goes on and on, I really love sharks. 😆 The "ghost shark" is also really neat, though it isn't technically a shark but actually something called a "chimaera."

2020-07-09 17:34:13 +0000 UTCthese are so wonderful :3 sharks are my favorite creature, i've also been studying them lately, there's so much diversity! my favorites are the leopard shark, zebra shark (which is funny because they're spotted, not striped, only the adolescents are black and white stripe and they grow up into tan w black spots), whale sharks of course, who doesnt love them?

Parrots have some kind of tropical images, so I didn't know some of them could survive the winter. (and I just... While writing this, I realized that there was a pond where lives Guppy in my country.) I love blue sharks, too. I drew it last year, but I'll sketch it again this time.

Somewhat unrelated, but in the Netherlands you can find the green ringneck parakeet as a common city bird! They escaped (or were released) in the 60s and now they continue to spread around the country. They used to be only in a neighboring city, but over the past four years or so, I can find more and more in my backyard 🦜 Just sharing a random fact haha. I really love blue sharks? They always look concerned haha

Most photos of great white shark show mostly their sharp teeth so they look really scary, but I like to think they are misunderstood. They're just trying to live their life lol
