What's "ocho loco" in Spanish? ;) I feel like it's an unwritten cartel rule where you can't beat the boss at poker lol. I think Kim sees determination, dedication, charm & wit in Jimmy. Jimmy "bootstrapped his way to a law degree" (quote by Kim in S3E5) just like Kim "pulled [herself] up by her bootstraps" (quote by Rich Schweikart in S2E7) so I think she relates to Jimmy in that way. They both did it at an older age, starting in the HHM mailroom in their early 30s & late 20s respectively. She also seems to have a bit of a taste for the odd scam, something she can only really satisfy with someone like Jimmy. She did also (semi-jokingly I think) label her commitment to Jimmy as a "fallacy of sunk costs" as far back as S3E3 ahaha She's definitely a victim of the "I can fix him" mentality :P Lalo is so fun to watch. That stare to Nacho when discussing options with Domingo is terrifying though. Utterly soulless. The DoP has talked about how, to compensate for dimmer lighting, they tend to put a glint in character's eyes which we get used to. So I think when suddenly there's no glint in the eye, like with Lalo there, he looks completely psychotic. Also good to see Howard doing well again :) Can't wait for what's coming next! :D Ready to get your rocks on?
