Better Call Saul 3x3 REACTION [Early Access]

Actually it is a subscription based service. Go fund me would be an example of what your talking about. We pay a monthly recurring fee on patreon for certain perks or access to different content. That by definition is a subscription based platform. I'm sure you two enjoy this but I'm also pretty sure the biggest motivator for you to do it is the extra income. If you didn't get paid would you still take time out of your busy schedule to record? I'm sure you wouldn't. I pay to watch YouTube reaction videos early. I already feel something like that no matter the channel is a waste of money when I can just wait a couple weeks longer. I'm sorry but the same way you are motivated to do this for money, i also want to get my value for what I pay each month. It basically comes down to you offering a service, not goods or something tangible. If I don't even receive that service every week or it's not consistent I don't know what I'm paying for. Nothing personal but I no longer feel like it's worth it to pay every month.

patreon actually isn't really a subscription service — folks who like our channel can back it at their pleasure and gain access to special perks, such as early access. we have delivered on that consistently as whenever we have a new episode ready to go, we share it with the patrons weeks in advance.

It's not entitled. We pay for a subscription and half the time don't even get the releases when we're supposed to. That's the whole point of paying for a subscription. If you wanna just help them out and give them your money use PayPal or cashapp.

ok??? don’t be so entitled it’s not that serious lol

Dani

I did. It has happened 2 weeks in a row.

Here's my take on the brothers. It all comes down to mother loving Jimmy more. While Chuck follows all the rules and becomes a successful lawyer, Slipping Jimmy is conning people and stealing from his father and not a good person. But because he's charming and likable, we all seem to forgive Jimmy. I don't like Chuck. But I know why he is the way he is.

Terri

The biggest surprise for me for sure when starting BCS is how much Kim and Jimmys relationship is the forefront of the story

MrGuy3000

These are both very good points and I agree completely. Just trying to present a different perspective for the reactors. I do agree that Chuck’s resentment and duplicity are his biggest flaws, and ultimately leads to the events of the series.

Chuck only likes Jimmy as a screwup, not a successful professional. Like Eric pointed out, Jimmy already was "on the right path", but to Chuck the only "right path" is as a mail room employee, and not a lawyer.

Ryan Roach

I agree that Chuck doesn’t owe Jimmy a job at HHM; but what Chuck does owe his brother is the truth. It’s the gaslighting, pretending he’s on Jimmy’s side while secretly working against him, that’s so fucked up. Jimmy is a criminal, Chuck is right about that. But Jimmy also adores and idolizes Chuck, goes out of his way to take care of him during his illness, and wants nothing more than his love and approval. Chuck lying to his face for *years* is a serious betrayal that clearly broke Jimmy’s heart in a way that just saying “We can’t hire you, sorry,” probably wouldn’t have.

Francesca Langer

So I’ll say this about Chuck. Despite obviously being jealous of Jimmy and how easily he is able to pick things up and charm those around him, Chuck did get him out of jail for (accidentally) exposing himself to children, and then gave Jimmy a job at his company working in the mail room, even after knowing about all of his Slipping Jimmy behavior. He didn’t have to do either of those things, but he did because despite their relationship already being somewhat contentious, he did genuinely care about his brother. Chuck did not promise to give Jimmy a job as an attorney at his own company, nor did he owe him one. If you’ve ever had a family member or close friend with a history of either bad work ethic or problematic behavior, you do not necessarily owe it to them to stick out your own neck own reputation just to get them a job, especially in Chuck’s case, where the reputation of his own company (one that he built himself) is on the line. Just food for thought. Feel free to disagree.
