All good? Will it be a post today?

Good analysis at the end, there's a lot of pyschology to be talked about for some pretty deep characters. I agree that Howard is hard to pin down! Though I think that's by design. When people say this show is a slow burn, I agree especially up until this point but I think around now is when it starts gradually ramping up ;)

Yeah, if they were partners they could share/cover each others’ clients and thus be liable if something goes wrong or if Jimmy does something shady for their shared clients. If he gets sued, the person wouldn’t be suing the firm Wexler-McGill, they’d just be suing him - Jimmy McGill. Lots of difference. Comparison that makes sense for me is one of those corporate park office buildings that have a primary care doc/practice in one door and a dermatologist in another. Except that Jimmy and Kim will also share a receptionist

The tricks Jimmy pulls have consequences that you will see in future seasons

Jimmy is terrifying as a supervillain because even though he’s generally kind and well-meaning, he is *so* intelligent, *so* devious, *so* relentless— the lengths he goes to are *insane*. He’s a force of nature.

Also fifi is a real ww2 plane that tours the country and they were able to film it while it was in Albuquerque. The dog house is real too! I made a point to go there when i visited Albuquerque

A lot of the cons that Jimmy does with Marco are about making the mark feel like they're in control, and I think that this episode shows that when Chuck is giving his pitch to Mesa Verde he does the same thing. They're not so different, really

Regarding your intro convo about liability from last episode: well, she wouldn't be liable, that was Kim's train of thought from last episode when she proposed "2 firms under the same roof". She does stuff her way, Jimmy is free to do his own "colourful" way. Kim would be her own separate company. They would just share rent and spend more time together. Kim wanted her own practice but just didn't want to be professional partners with Jimmy.
