To say I'm heartbroken is an understatement. I've been crunching to hell and back trying to make my Christmas deadline. I was really hoping to be able to take Christmas/New Year off and enjoy life without that...thing still hovering above my head like a cartoon anvil.

I've resisted testing it because everytime I've tried to make one (especially from a board game video) it's both incomprehensible and ass.

The Monthly Cry for Help (June)

My friends and compatriots, good evening. It's been another month with yet more change, so I'll get right down to it and try to keep it short.

The big kabookie. I'm pretty deep into the editing process for CNA now, and I'm feeling good. It feels good. I'd say great, but the longer you work on a video the more you hate it.

You may recall I'd originally planned to release CNA in June, which would've happened barring one...small error.

The I-Can't-Believe-it's-Not-March Monthly Update (April)

Time moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you'll realise two full months have passed since you've done an update. Missing one of these the very second month after announcing I'll be doing them is pretty on brand for me, at least.

I'll keep this brief. While things have been insane the last few weeks, it sure as hell doesn't look that way from the outside (yet).

Monthly Update (February)

What the hell is this then?

After a two month long sick period at the end of last year where I simply ceased to exist, I realised I'd love to be more transparent with you guys. Let people have a better idea of what I'm actually doing with my time back here.

With CNA still unreleased, it does look like I'm sitting around with my thumb up my ass all day. On the contrary - I spend as little as half the day with my thumb up my ass.

It's finally here.

Took me a lot longer than I had originally thought to wrap this one up - but I guess I should expect that at this point. The extra animations slowed me down.

Still, I think it's come together very nicely and I hope you'll enjoy it.

Oops, i've done it again.

My plan was to have the 5D Diplomacy video done and dusted as my end-of-year capstone, but rather than do that I instead used all my time making this sick-ass intro.

Where I've Been.

Hello my friends. It's been a minute.

I had big plans for these last months of 2024, but things (as always) didn't turn out the way I'd expected.

Long story short, I was ill. I don't normally get sick, so actually being sick threw me for a loop. Had my first ever visit to the hospital, which (in hindsight) was very fun.

And no - you will not be seeing the ultrasound of my testicles. I plan to put that pic...

[Early Access] Realistic Monopoly

The month of may is finally at an end, because this horrifying monstrosity is complete.

Honestly, really love how this video turned out. The board game looks amazing, was fun to play...once...and I think it was good i like it :)

That said, remind me never to go this crazy on me doing math for several hours on a sunday evening.

[Patreon Exclusive] Mildly Drunk Mario Party

Finally - one of the two videos I wanted out in May is completely finished :)

This is a little (little meaning 48 minutes, apparently) exclusive video for just you guys to enjoy. [Early Access] I Can't Believe it's Not CNA!

Yep. This is where my life has gone to over the past month or so. It's my longest ever video by a full fifteen minutes, and far more complicated than I thought it would be. Hell, just making the map alone before doing any animations took a full week ;-;

Tomorrow I'll do a slightly longer write-up regarding what my plans are for the next few months (both with regards to a significantly more frequent upload schedule and of course, the long awaited CNA video) but for ...

So, this weeks video was, unironically, going to be the long awaited Campaign for North Africa video.

As usual however, I (mildly) overestimated how much time it was going to take to complete. 

To put it into perspective, the script for this video is about five times longer than the script for my only other long video essay, Count Dooku's Soul Harvester. And on top of that, I'm animating quite a few things since I really could not explain what's happening ot...
