Fun callback: the pig toy that Mike fixes is the one he hung from the front door as a distraction so he could get the jump on the assassin that Lydia hired to kill Chow (and everyone else on the legacy list).

2024-08-14 21:53:47 +0000 UTCNative Texan here...as far as I know, despite their spellings, I'm not aware of any connection between Amarillo the city and armadillo the animal. However, the armadillo is our state's official small mammal and is common in Texas artwork and iconography, so that explains the clasp on Jimmy's tie (which is a "bolo" tie and could be an intentional nod to the "cocobolo" desk...but I'm probably reaching).
