2024-03-09 06:07:06 +0000 UTCHank was somewhat defined by his machismo and now he feels weak, helpless, nonproductive and doesn't know how to cope with it. Marie is someone he can "safely" lash out on in private while trying to keep up appearances for others. It doesn't help that she's the one who (out of necessity) has to somewhat tend to him like to a child, and her efforts at being positive come off as condescending. She's trying her best though. As far as the minerals go, well Hank did previously have a little obsession with a certain type of blue crystal so I'd say there's a connection there
