Just a quick note about the demo progress.
I should have it ready by tomorrow. There's only one or two lingering issues I have to deal with, but those hopefully won't take long. Expect it by tomorrow night at the latest!
As long as you're subscribed here for at least $1, you'll have early access to it for a week before the public release.

Further improving the dialogue system with a quest-like features like conditional checks for talking to other NPCs and visiting locations.
I was hoping to have a demo by the end of August, but at the rate I'm going, I don't know if that's reasonable. Everything just takes forever to do when you don't know anything.

There isn't much new to show visually at the moment. All the progress in the last week or so has been functional, like getting the stats/stat modifiers implemented and finding a baseline to start balancing health and damage.
So in lieu of that, here's a rundown of what I have left to finish on the battle prototype.
-Evasion & Hit %
-Speed stat & determining turn order
-End of combat logic including player death, awarding EXP/loot, and leveling up.
