Fall Announcement - health, where I've been, & future changes!

Hey everyone!!

It's been... quite a situation. I'm so sorry for the last few weeks and my lack of activity. One day I'll stop apologizing for this because hopefully it won't be happening anymore (ಥ﹏ಥ) Last couple months have been pretty rowdy for me and family.

First, a bit on health and what I've been up to:

in the last two months I've had a lot of doctor appointments—not for anything serious, I promise—and due to that I finally have my ADHD diagnosis! I still can't afford the medication, but someday I will. I'll be working hard for it for sure just so I can have some peace of mind in that regard. Unfortunately, in seeking my ADHD diagnosis I had to accept a diabetes diagnosis, and I've had to set aside some funds for the medication and the funky little blood machine. It's been a bit stressful getting into the groove of dealing with that, but at least I'm no longer in denial lol

The last two weeks especially have been busy because I've been taking care of my mom and taking her to her own diabetes appointments. As the only person in my house who drives, I've been chauffeuring everyone around and running errands so I haven't had much time for myself. Luckily that bit is over! Just in time for Halloween, too haha. I'll be finishing up my nun fig, so hopefully that'll be up soon!

Future Changes:

With the changes to Twitter and the training of AI, I will no longer be posting full illustrations on Twitter at all. All illustrations that go public in the future will be glazed, and will likely be on my Bluesky. There are other sites I supposedly post on (infrequently) that I will try to be more diligent about, too, of course.

Don't really know how the AI scrubbing works, but patrons of any level won't get glazed works just yet, unless another dawning revelation happens and I'll have to make that change, too.
