Added 2024-04-20 01:45:01 +0000 UTCWhen I woke up this morning, I wanted to draw a girl with black hair, bob cut, big breasts, short stacks, and a kimono. However, the short stacks and big breasts are structurally incompatible, so I quickly changed it to a Japanese bunny.
The obi belt of a kimono tightens around the lower half of the ribs, so large breasts cannot be contained within the garment. In real life, women would wear underwear called a "breast press" to hold down large breasts while wearing the kimono. Perhaps because of this, small breasts were preferred in ancient Japan.
However, I have some doubts as to whether men at the time thought like that.
