Added 2023-06-23 01:28:10 +0000 UTCWell, I had my first ever real, full, general anesthesia surgery. And then the following evening I forgot to take any of my pain meds before going to sleep and woke up in excruciating pain. But now that I have a schedule worked out for that it's going fine.

Yes and even with "gold level" insurance in a "competitive market" state that I pay $350 a month for, I still have a $4000 copay. Welcome to American healthcare. (the surgery is $10K if you don't have insurance)
