More Progress

Another 12+ hours

Tryed to fix the mouth and some wrinkles. Due to the incredible help from 8fold I still have my sanity. Thanks again for all the support and your time, 8! It was a pleasure learning under you <3

So then I blocked out Silbers hair and remodeled it on top... Gosh I learned a lot... It's really all about problem solving. Tech art is sooo different and hard to learn.... but it's fun. I totaly forget everything around me...

Hope you guys like the results and I am looking forward to update you tomorrow again <3

Thank you for your support and patience with me

I probably should have been more specific😅. Anisotropy in shading is when roughness is different along the tangent than against it; in other words, it stretches the specular highlights and reflections along a direction on the surface. You can see it most clearly on brushed metal and well combed hair. Since typically you'll want to use the UV map to derive the tangent, having good edgeflow like you do in the hair will aid that, and you won't have to create a texture to dictate the tangent.

Thanks a bunch. I am excited where it all leads to

Had to google anisotropy and at first I was confused since the word discribes behavior of organisms XD but I assume you mean it might animate well? O.O

I like the hair as well

Meanbeard

That hair looks like it'll play nicely with anisotropy.
