[.tox] 'KinectV' 1.0

KinectV 1.0 is a T3D-based component I developed to easily convert Kinect point cloud data into a 3D texture, using the T3D (3D Texture Operators) Toolkit by Josef Pelz.

To generate the component’s T3D stubs, simply drag the T3D Toolkit .tox file into your project, and the necessary operators will be automatically created.

Perfect for integrating Kinect depth data into volumetric simulations or real-time 3D visual effects.

[.toe] 'Flow3D' 1.2 Examples (T3D Stubs)

Flow3D Examples Project File is Now Available!

I'm excited to finally share the Flow3D Examples TouchDesigner project file. This project contains T3D Stubs, making it easy to integrate with the latest T3D system.

How to Use the File:

To get everything running smoothly:

  • Drop down the newest T3D TOX  into the project.

  • The missing T3D operators will automatically regenerate.

To manually regenerate the T3D operators:

  • Right-click on the T3D button (top-right corner of the project window).

  • Go to the Advanced tab.

  • Find the "Regenerate T3Ds" parameter and press it.

Keeping T3D Up to Date:

If a newer version of T3D is released, you can update all T3D operators in this project or any other project by using the "Update Old T3Ds" parameter in the T3D tab.

Flow3D v1.3 is Coming Soon:

Work on Flow3D version 1.3 is in progress and will be released soon with new updates and features. More details will be shared soon.

How to Access T3D Tools and Project Files

Important Update!

All T3D tools and project files are now available directly through the posts—no need to send a request!

How to Use the Files:

  • Download the tool or project file from the Patreon post.

  • Drop the latest T3D TOX into the project.

  • The missing T3D Operators will automatically regenerate.

If you need to manually regenerate or update T3D Operators:

  • Click the T3D button (top-right corner of the project window).

  • Under the Advanced tab, use "Regenerate T3Ds" to generate missing operators.

  • To update older versions of T3D operators, use "Update Old T3Ds" in the T3D tab.

Hey!

I've managed to fix some GLSL errors that were caused by the cache obstacle part of the simulation.

Now, the simulation can run on different aspect ratios by rendering with the T3D volume by Josef Plez, which supports non-1:1 ratio volumes.

I'm super excited to share two components with you: 'VolumetricGeo,' which runs volumetric ray marching to render 3D textures as volumes, and 'soptoTexture3D,' which allows you to convert any SOP or instances of SOPs into 3D textures, and then render them with 'VolumetricGeo.'

Hey everyone, hope your'e doing well and thank you so much for your support!

In this tutorial we are going to create nice organic shapes by manipulating the z axis of a grid of points.

There is one thing i missed in the tutorial - i didnt change the render pixel format to 32 bit float RGBA and the ani-alias to 32x. of course if you dont have a strong computer it will reduce the performence of the simulation so be aware.
