Sometimes, you will hear the same voice actors over and over. This is because in the US, when you do union animation, every person who talks has to be paid, so they will instead hire one person to do many voices to save money. So, if the voices sound similar, it is because they are

Just let her watch the show.
The show will provide plenty of opportunity to give Madison the right insight of reanimation.
- we all watched it and understood it, I bet she will too.

That is true! I THINK what Baris is trying to reference is the fact that it’s not them physically. It’s just their souls that have been called back from the afterlife. So like not them as in not them corporally and not them as in they don’t belong in this world. Although the explanation you gave with the “spell” and jutsu formula is true. They will have their personalities unless repressed by the caster.

I think it's a plot point that went nowhere because in Part 1 their relationship seemed to come from mutual respect yet Orochimaru is wary of him yet it's kind of contradictory when Shippuden came around because Orochimaru recruited Kabuto as a child and then proceeded to groom him and that's where we got the absolute loyalty from Kabuto. If we go by the story as it's told in Shippuden Orochimaru shouldn't have any reason to distrust Kabuto especially when he brainwashed him at such a young age.

Not really. If you recall in early Shippuden it is revealed that Sasori had placed a seal on Kabuto. The seal was likely released during the events of Naruto or slightly before. So Orochimaru wouldnt know where Kabuto's true intentions lie. This is a possible explanation for this. Or Masashi forgot. Lol

I grew to like orochimaru. The back half of shippuden is what did it. In boruto, orochimaru is just funny

Madison watched this in her past life already, the memories are now coming back to her. Also Baris please explain the reanimation jutsu to her cuz it seems like she still doesn't fully understand it. Reanimated persons are them past selves, same memories, same personalities, unless the person who reanimated them puts another jutsu over them that makes them obey every command of that person.

When I first watched this episode, I really did think that Kabuto was gonna betray Orochimaru here. But once again, Madison's explanation of Kabuto's knowledge of medical ninjutsu came into play. W analysis.

Man, I gotta say - Madison is whip smart...she puts the pieces together so quickly. Loving the reactions, excited for you all to see the major arcs still to go in Naruto and then Shippuden.

Kabuto's always been an Orochimaru simp through and through so whenever I go back and rewatch OG Naruto this whole thing of Kabuto possibly betraying Orochimaru never goes anywhere and I'm so confused when that particular part comes up because it never amounted to anything yet it seems like they imply it hard here especially with the flashback. Kishimoto must have dropped a plot point or something because it seemed like he was going a different direction with Kabuto's character but changed his mind at the last minute.
