I think im into androgyny and orientation play sometimes? the idea of an androgynous or openly gay character "experimenting" or treating someone in their non-preferred gender intimately or even sensually is fun to me and im not 100% sure why. Maybe its the added taboo factor, or the idea of a character treating their own sexuality as a non-factor while being intimate with someone, and thus making the interaction platonic or playful instead of sexual? im also not sure which is more androgynous, leslie or penny, both are genderless in my headcannon.
