I did some experimenting today with making a 3d model puppet for maya, and this is the result! I can pose a puppet in 3d and then draw over it! enjoy!

I'm sure this is more true to life than most people want to admit. Great job on the shadows and pose. Very relaxed and casual. Congrats on figuring out a new program and using it so effectively on that second image. I can't wait to see how you use it for your comics. Thank you for sharing your art!

The perspective on the second picture is awesome and makes that pose look a lot more interesting than it would usually be. As a non-artist, I didn't really know that posing 3d models and drawing over them was a thing, but it sounds super helpful for getting characters to look natural.
