Januari Exclusive Vote
each second month I spend about a week or two drawing up a little comic that you all vote for! and this is that vote!
this month I will try to keep it short. to be done within the week (I hope). I have to keep health and excersise a priority, so I got a little less time to work on it each day too.
however that doesn't mean I'm not excited! I got some good ideas cooked up for you!

phew! I'm glad I could manage to make this, with my flu finaly on its way out. I had to redraw so much of this page because of wonky perspectives. I don't think I nailed it perfectly, but close enough XD it's time to move on.

once every two months I spend a week or two drawing a project for the €5 patrons. and this is that project from may! now released to the public! X)
I always only keep 2 projects exclusive for the tier, currently "masquarade mixer" and "movie night".
I really like this one, with the wide open panels, contrast to the last one which feels more cramped. you can also tell it was drawn in the summer!

very happy with how this turned out! I do love writing/drawing emil X) I def want to do more with him in the future!
the lineart felt like it went so fast. this time I mixed it up so that before dinner I did sketches and after dinner I caught up with lineart. netting 5 pages in a day at my peak speed. 5.5 days in I was done with all the lineart, and the last two days have been coloring.
even though sketches+line take the most time, flat color...

I just sketched up 23 of the 25 last "on the road" pages, and next week I will work on the exclusive! So it might seem like I've not done anything at all this month, but I have never worked harder in my life! XD
I hope to get a steady stream of pages done after the exclusive!

wew! that is... 23 pages! two more(+ some extras) to go, but I will stop here for the night.
some of the dialogue will need an extra pass , but spellchecking is always welcome! (some of it is really improvised on the spot, because sometimes my script is just stage directions when dialogue is not leading the action)
I wanted to finish these before I had to work on the exclusive XD but so be it!
next week is exclusive time. so I'll prepare a vote over the weekend!

I thought I just give a quick update, because otherwise I go so long without showing my face. I have finished up a second pass on the ending of this comic, I have thumbnailed all remaining 24 pages, and now have sketched 7 of those.
my plan is to sketch all 24, but it's not going all too fast, about 2 pages a day. but I am working continuously either way! X)
have a good weekend! and I will return next week with more sketched pages!

I loove this one X)
taking my sweet time. I am a little bit rusty, but also relatively distracted. Inspiration struck and I spent some hours writing up a whole comic idea that could be 150 pages if I am not careful! I might work on that in the future, but hopefully kept very simple.
however I really should stop delaying working on "on the road". I am on fire, and am feeling it! so next up I should release that last sketched page, and then sketch the final 10-20 ish pages if I can!...

So much for "rejouvinating vacation", it's been non-stop renovations in our apartment flat! but thankfully they finished up today
I look foreward to the peace and quiet of my job! though I'll start a bit slow, our entire house is still in boxes and pushed into corners, and I'm not exactly well rested.
