A rare pink full moon that can occur naturally but it can also be summoned with a powerful ritual. The Maternal Moon boosts a Lovewitch’s power, overflowing them with maternal magic, and if they aren’t careful they can accidentally impregnate themselves and keep growing the more they use their magic.
A novice Lovewitch could easily reach her limit and go into labor. However this phenomenon also saved the Lovewitch population.
Back when witches were persecuted, the Lovewitch matriarch purposefully channeled the maternal energy into herself, becoming massively pregnant and birthing hundreds of new witches allowing later generations like Vanessa and Scarlet to exist today.
