UC Volume One Signed Copies Update

Okay. So, I looked into a variety of options for selling signed copies. None of them are especially easy or particularly cost-efficient methods. It also turns out that Patreon's shop is strictly for digital content/items only. That's something I might have to explore in the future, but I'm not sure exactly what I'd sell there. Any suggestions other than ebook copies, since those go exclusively to Amazon? In light of these limitations, I've decided to go another way with this. 

After getting the signed copies of upper tier members squared away, and doling out copies to family members, it looks like I'll have about 7 loose copies to play with for now. So, here's the deal. The list price for the book is $15.99. I now know that shipping is about $5 for this book. So, they'll be $21.99. No crazy upcharge for getting a signed copy or wild hidden fees, at least not on my end of things. After all, I'm not that impressive. Sadly, this is for the US only. 

Now for the actual process. If you're interested, leave a comment below. I'll contact you individually on here using a first commented, first served process. Assuming everything is cool, I'll issue a PayPal invoice that you can pay via whatever method seems most appropriate to you. Why PayPal? Well, a couple of reasons. Mostly, it's because it keeps everyone's financial information private. I don't really want to be responsible for data security on other people's credit card information. I'm selfish like that. 

The other reason is basic accountability on my part. An invoice ramps up the feeling of responsibility. It also provides you with a recourse if, for some reason, I turn out to be a huge flake who never sends you a book. I don't think that will happen, but I like that you'll have the option. Forewarning: PayPal may or may not slap a sales tax onto the invoice. There isn't much I can do about that since taxes are the law and whatnot. If dealing with an invoice sounds like more trouble than you want to deal with, I will let you just send me a payment directly. You still get the data security of PayPal, just without the emotional and moral pressure an invoice puts on me. 

If you miss the window to grab a copy with my highly valuable and wholly illegible scrawl inside of it, don't despair. Volume Two comes out in a little over a month, so I'll be ordering copies of that. If there's demand for more than the 7 copies of Volume One that I have on hand, I can always order some more copies then. If there's substantially more demand, I'll probably bite the bullet and order more copies sooner.
