Learning to Make a METAL DETECTOR
Added 2023-06-16 09:33:57 +0000 UTCI MADE A METAL DETECTOR! And it actually works pretty well! It was a fun project! Just that I don't know why every time I want to make a 10 minute video it gets longer! :D I remember the days I had a hard time making a video over 2 minutes...

As an owner of a XP Deus metal detector, something you should be aware of now that you are officially also an owner ... people will shout "w*nker" at you. ;) seriously though, the technology is pretty incredible now, and I've picked out tiny Roman coins from over a foot deep...in an area that is covered with thousands of iron nails from the 1800s

If in the situation you would use a magnetron, for weed killing (with an E-plane flare antenna, and proper shielding and safety measures), could the generated microwaves cause interference in UTP data cables, coaxial camera cables or 24VDC power cables under ground, potentially destroying the coupled equipment?
