Keysight Winner
Added 2018-10-12 21:28:42 +0000 UTCAnd the spreadsheet drew yet another winner for the patron keysight scope whose name is:
- Daniela (just Daniela, no last name!)
Heh, you should watch me when I draw names! After I put together the spreadsheet, making a change in the sheet triggers a refresh of random values and throws in a number for the winner. For some reason when I click a button to draw, I close my eyes and hope for the best, whatever that is! After I write down the first winner in the sheet and press enter, a second number pops out and I write it down in case the first person doesn't respond, and a few other numbers afterwards too.
Well, if Daniela doesn't respond and I pick the next person, I'll update the post here and contact the new winner.
Have fun!

2018-10-13 06:33:26 +0000 UTCI haven't tried anything beyond that video. But for safety sake, as long as you don't touch your capacitors' high voltage or stand in front of the bullet, you should be fine! Placing magnets around the rails should significantly increase the speak. They also shoot the projectile through the rails to start with pressurized air or something, to avoid it welding itself to the rails at slow speeds. Have fun!

2018-10-13 06:27:18 +0000 UTCHi Mehdi, I've been meaning to do this since around May when I first saw your Videos & found out that you exist with us on this planet. I thought this guy is so great so passionate here's a man that my dad would of loved like a son & who I think would of hung your photo with ours on his work bench oh by the way the work bench don't forget the bench & also don't forget the spoon. So I thought I would cast my tiny life story here about a man my dad a man so crazy passionate enthusiastic & fantastic with & about Electronic engineering it became apart of our every day life. Our home décor wasn't wall paper it was walls stacked with Tv's video players HiFi stack systems record players cassette players 8 Track players E.q's parts panels p.c.b's frames I could go on its was every where ! . My dads work bench was our home it was different odd & not your normal environment to bring five kids up in but it was my home & as a kid it was normal to me growing up. Well my dad being my dad could not stop there I am now 39 & as the story of my life goes when I am asked what's your name I laugh to myself with pride & say my name is Mr Triode Field Effective Transistor..Rydqvist. yes my dad gave me the greatest name ever !!!. by the way this is not a joke honestly hand on heart. Now here are only the first names of my brothers he named including me In age order.. goes. Diode Triode Diac & Triac. My three sisters as they say got barely away with it with normal first names but was given electronic middle ones my mum standing her ground strong from my dads ideas for the girls first names she won that. So yeah thank you for being you Mehdi you remind me of my dad in lots of ways he had that funny dark humor one liners & play on words. As for me out of us all I am the only one that took on my dads wisdom & skill sets I am that guy who lives on that street who can fix more or less anything. I am in lots of ways my dads clone its like he was uploading all them years for me. He was fascinated with it his life its what he talked about what he loved most (electricity) he also felt godly as well when fault finding & fixing came as second nature. He bestowed a great deal of knowledge on me I am grateful for it & us kids turned out ok. My dad should of been a case study. if only he could of had the chance to witness you. he past away 3 years ago and you have been doing videos for I think almost 6 I kick myself he could got to see but I didn't discover you yet its bitter sweet but what can you do. I will be buying a full bridge rectifier T shirt next week & raising my Patreon as it will be pay day ..Thanks for making it this far all the best ElectroBoom. yours Truly. Mr Triode Field Effective Transistor Rydqvist.. Thanks DAD !!!!!!
2018-10-13 04:48:23 +0000 UTCMehdi, could you answer a quick question about your railgun video? My humble hacker group has taken railgun on as our next project, and I was just wondering if you had any success beyond what you posted in your vid? No worries if not, I just find it unusually hard to find decent resources on this project. A number of makers have been forced to censor details for legal reasons. I'm looking for details for the sake of SAFETY reasons. We have some pretty nice quick-discharge caps and we're a little worried about what to expect. Regardless, keep up the great work!
