Just a rant at YouTube!

YouTube is going to the toilet with this kind of thing - de-monetized videos should go to a panel of, I don't know, humans to see if the thing is a fair and working system..... Meh, what do I know? I'm just a fish in a bowl :)_

Your rant won me over. I have been subscribed and liking your videos for some time but hadn't been patreonising you until this rant. It's not much but hopefully there are a whole bunch more of similar mindset who can also contribute a little to keep your great videos funded.

It's just a matter of time before something comes along and puts youtube out back with myspace. This is happing to every creator that I subscribe too, youtube and their new algorithim need to get their head out of their advertisers ass, without the creators, no one would be watching the ads anyway. Why is the whole world becoming a whiny batch of bitches.

Its only the content creators who give honest reviews and disprove scams that Youtube has proved they are against.

Yeah I saw Cody's video about him possibly getting banned and was so confused. I mean you both are fun educators. Y'all get people interested in the sciences while enjoying themselves. You tube need to get their priorities straight

Is the frequency of the output of your Tesla Coil governed by the coil or the interrupter? Will water boil if you interrupt your Tesla Coil at microwave frequencies? And as Cody's Lab demonstrated, are fruit flies too small to be roasted by a Tesla Coil interrupted at microwave wavelengths. Cody's Lab does not appear to have permanently injured any fruit flies, but I don't think they liked it. Or maybe they really were to small relative to microwave wavelengths to notice. I think permanent for a fruit fly is not very long though. Since I don't donate enough to win machinery I don't need I get my money's worth posting inane comments.

So how does demonetising work? Is it that no ads are shown or that YouTube just doesn't pay out the share?

After seeing the targeted attacks on AvE and a few other channels I was wondering when Youtube was sadly going to wreck havoc on your channel. I'm so sorry for what is happening to all of my favorite creators. I went ahead and started my patreon support for you and don't give up on creating content. I'd watch these in stream format even if it came to it.

I have found the best way to deal with the demonetising is to upload the video but don't publish it right away, set it all up, leave it as unlisted, then when it gets hit you can get it fixed, then publish it. I didn't have issue with this until recently, and that is what I found was the best way to deal with it.

I’m sorry this is happening to you. Most of my videos are filming protests for people who are trying to fight against unjust laws or police brutality, and they demonitize all my content. If it wasn’t for Patreon, I️ would have nothing.
