I have been working on the Discord overhaul for the past few weeks - It took me by surprise how much more I needed to plan that wasn't even Discord-related, but still affected by what wanted to change and improve. It's not just a "place to talk" for the community, the server will also be a central hub for all the lore, art, models and detailed news of what I'm currently making. The forum channel feature is amazing at that - I can make visible posts with image previews that don't get buried by other messages, It's like having a gallery right in-Discord server!
Over the next few days (maybe not consecutively) I will be completely re-shuffling every channel, and there is no way to elegantly do it, no hiding it behind the scenes and pushing an update when ready. So you will see me edit everything live - that could be fun, that could also be somewhat frustrating. That's why I have to apologize beforehand, but the work must be done!

That's just a small snippet of what I wrote.. (don't actually try to read it)
I have written about 15000 words of lore for my Dragon world, started a new design notebook for the game I'm working on - so happy to finally put my thoughts down to "paper". The text needs to be vigorously edited (and by that time it might grow in size even more). I won't be posting all of it at once - no one will read that much in one go, plus I plan on making somewhat lewd illustrations to go alongside of all the text. The lore is crucial to have, as everything I do is connected by it. It's the "glue" for all my Game, Art, World and Avatar projects. The very goal of it all is to immerse people into the world of Dragotheria.

Additionally I have also worked a bit more on my new VRChat avatar base, taking my old base models and "uplifting" them to look great in VR. It is surprising how different models look in VR. Something that looks fine on flat-screen can look completely scuffed in VR. But once the model has been adjusted to look good in VR, it looks even better on flat screen. I suppose it's a similar effect as 2D artists flipping canvas horizontally - it allows you to see your work from a completely new perspective, except the effect is even more pronounced.

I also spent a bunch of time working on the wings alone - it's extremely difficult to model and rig in a way that would work with vanilla Unity (without any extra custom technology) and VRChat.

Commission-wise, I made a stomach and internal digestive system for a friend I met in VR. I'm excited for stomachs and guts on VR avatars a lot - no one seems to have that! There is, like one generic stomach asset, but I strongly believe internal organs deserve as much customization as the outside exterior ones! Audiolink, custom shaders, pulsating animations, and so much more.
So that's it for now, please keep an eye on the server as I put new channels to it! This patreon post might be short, but that's because there is more for you to discover there, as most of the new channels are no-talk information only places.
I have also planned new updates for the Patreon page: new project descriptions, page design, new tiers and rewards! But that will come after Discord updates are complete.
