(Dis)integration effect

Started working on a new effect that will be a big part of the game:

Whenever you respawn or change species your character body - it will disappear similar to how shown in the gif, but with more anatomical detail and flashy particles, because there will be actual muscles and bones involved in this transition. And then, a new body will be quickly reconstructed in a similar manner.

Sounds a bit gross? Well, please remember that this game is inspired by nature and all living organic things, I gotta show somehow that the models aren't just empty 3d shells, I want players believe that they actually have muscles and organs inside, similarly to how I did it here a while ago:

If you've seen Attack on Titan, you probably remember those glorious transformation animations - that's my primary source of inspiration! Stay tuned for more about this, I'm so excited show the final effect when its ready! :}

Also, if you're interested - this effect will also replace the gore idea: as we all know, predators feast on the flesh of their prey - but instead of actually ripping out the guts of dead creatures, they will act more civil and use technology to disintegrate the body and receive skin, meat, organs, bones directly to the inventory. 

I'm quite sure, that our dear patrons are not exactly bloodthirsty individuals, and having something less bloody, but still realistic (and sci-fi as hell) for the hunting mechanic will be appreciated! Plus it's easier to model this way :}

Well, truth to be told is that I had to reconsider because the old idea would add too much additional work for the assets per species. To make proper bloody gore it would require too much different possible combinations (Normal, normal-gutted, Normal-gutted-beheaded, normal-beheaded, skinned, skinned-gutted, skinned-gutted-beheaded....... etc etc etc) Now, instead it would be less things created and the process of getting the meat and bones is always the same, so I have an opportunity to spend some time and make it look better... It is still realistic, as the body is first stripped from its skin, then muscles are removed.. then organs.. etc etc.. Still lots of models to do, but less work overall. And all this, if the dissolve action was interrupted, will leave a bloody puddle on the ground... So you see, it's still going to be gritty and realistic, but with more hitech stuff involved, and it fits because our game revolves about cool alien technology. Inventory also works the same way, disintegrating objects... a body is also an object, just molecules.

Maybe you could somehow include both for even more realism? Like... You'd have to somehow gain the required technology first to be able to disintegrate the body and until then you'd have to use claws which would take longer than the technology-way?
