Whiskey Wednesday
Added 2023-01-11 22:19:47 +0000 UTCIsaac Bowman Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a Virginia bourbon that is aged in charred white oak barrels, then finished in port barrels, some that come from Virginia wineries. This combination of finishing barrels produces flavors of jam with caramel and spice notes.
This was a wonderful Christmas gift which I really enjoyed. I shared it with some friends and it went over really well! It is very smooth and enjoyable to drink.

Nose / Aroma / Smell
The scent of ripe plums leaps from the glass followed by toffee and baking spices.
Flavor / Taste / Palate
The flavor profile is rich with notes of stone fruits and a light sweetness over notes of pecan praline, cookie dough, and a dash of clove.
Finish
The finish is medium length with just a dash of sweet.
