How perfect is this bottle as a Derby gift?! I love beautiful whiskey bottles and save them for my Infinity bottles collection. I like to pour the last bit of the whiskey into an "Infinity bottle". I know, I know.....Some whiskey drinkers may flinch or roll their eyes, that I do this, but I think it's fun to see what it all tastes like when the bottle fills up. I keep a record on the bottle of the date and the name of the whiskey with a paint pen. I keep a separate bottle for Irish pot stills, bourbons and then a mix of miscellaneous. If it's not a great whiskey, I won't save it.
Anyways, back to the whiskey featured today. Chestnut Farms Bourbon is owned by Sazerac (Buffalo Trace) and it's made at the Barton 1792 distillery. Overall, I really enjoyed this bourbon. I found it a bit strong at the beginning but it turns into a rather enjoyable sipping whiskey.
Cheers! 🥃
