Whiskey Wednesday

Today's choice is a blended Irish whiskey from The Quiet Man range (not named after the John Wayne film, but rather after the father of the brand owner - he was a bartender who heard many stories during his time behind the bar, but told no tales 😊). Before bottling, the whiskey is finished in first-fill bourbon barrels.
I find this a very easy whiskey to sip...
Dangerously so!

Tasting Note by Master of Malt:
Nose: Icing sugar, fresh tropical fruit, green banana and honey.
Palate: Creamy vanilla, toasted cereals, more honey, marmalade.
Finish: Faint spiciness of cinnamon and peppery oak.
