Posting a little early this week. I'm going to be away from my computer for a few days so I figured why not post now?
The Reeve's outfit is almost done. It's at the usual stage where I'm still messing a bit with the textures and colors. Just need the different body types and then to rig it and put it in game.
I've been working with the lighting again. Mostly trying to make reflections look good with all the realtime lighting. It seems like it's all a balancing act between all the lights, the fog, and the atmosphere. I think I'm starting to get something I'm happy with but I'll probably keep iterating on things on the side for a while.
I started to tackle the "jumping bug". The issue that if the player jumps at the last moment before a scene, a grapple, or any number of other things that it will break stuff and the player will fall through the ground and into the void. There's a surprising amount of conflicting issues from how I set up some of the systems that I need to find solutions for. The first "fix" iteration that I'm testing on grapples stops the player from falling through the ground but locks them in the air when the grapple was initiated. It's not perfect but it's a step towards a full solution.
