I love this movie. The character of Miles Morales is a living embodiment of the movie's theme. Years ago Donald Glover would appear on an episode of Community wearing a spiderman outfit, sparking the idea that he could play a live action spiderman. Comic purists argued that Peter Parker can't be played by a black man because he is canonically white. Now we have a movie where a black spiderman fights against the canon in order to save the one he loves. It's inspiring
