General Update #53

Hey there everyone!

Today we have some news for you about the games. Let's get right into it!

Silent Echo

We have completed development on the chapter finale, with only the chapter achievements left to implement.

With that out of the way, we've been looking at what else we can add in this patch and a few players had already noticed the presence of a "Flooded Labs" area on the minimap since the initial chapter release.

In this next update, Silent Echo will have its very own underwater section, complete with special enemies, conditions, unique rewards, and the inability to bring any squad member along with you, making this a truly solo challenge.

If you grabbed the Mermaid Outfit in Chapter 2, this will be a perfect opportunity to use it and have an edge against the creatures lurking within this area.

For now that's about it as we're just getting started with this area. We will have more info to share next week.

Starwatch Academy

A couple week ago we ran a poll to get your opinion on a possible consolidation of the outfit system.

The answer has been an overwhelming yes (and I appreciate the trust lol), therefore the team has started working on this.

Following a discussion with Flaxede, we came to the conclusion it wouldn't hurt nor take that much longer to give the paperdolls an updated makeover considering everything we've learned from Silent Echo.

With that in mind, we've started working on updating female MC first as she's the one takes requires the most development time. We're very much looking forward to sharing that with you once we've made sufficient progress!

Completing this is our first objective for patch 0.4.2, as it will lift a considerable weight on the team and allow us to produce new customization items at a much faster pace.
