About Patreon hiding some Teasing Cabba pages
Added 2024-04-03 04:37:49 +0000 UTCThe new community guidelines are doing whatever they want and nuking some random pages of Teasing Cabba, one of the easy solutions is do genitalia censor like a Japanese Doujin but I'm not really comfy doing that, specially since this was going to be the place where I can post without those idiotic restrictions
And honestly I rather die on that hill and risking everything that bend over some stupid nonsensical rules, but what you guys thinks matters a lot too
To keep it short I wanna ask you guys your opinion on this, would you be OK on supporting any NSFW art I do here with Dick/Vagina censorship?
This will run only on Manga related posts, since regular art includes PSD file and you guys can freely remove the censor bars
Also, Bsky post will remain uncensored

It would be very inconvenient, but there are alternatives to patreon that are less picky (for now, at least). I already had to move some support over them. There is also the option to have a subscriber exclusive channel in a discord, but I have no idea how tedious it is to setup. To be frank, the worst option is to actually try to bend over with their rules, as they are very volatile, and asking authors to change their work to fit within arbitrary rules that are actively hostile to them will not end well. I've seen a handful of account just plainly removing 3/4 of their content and completely changing directions to try to follow them :(

Even though what's being taken down is porn, it still doesn't change the fact it's a completely valid form of expression and someone put the time, effort and care to bring it together and to share it with the world.

2024-04-03 04:56:32 +0000 UTCYeah, a similar issue with Patreon happened to anothet artist, Tobias Wheller, where Patreon was taking down NSFW posts of one of their characters, Maddie, because she had a small cup size. But luckily it seemed to have been resolved, and I hope the same will happen for you. If external opinions are what you need, if not from me, others will surely give it. Just remember you aren't alone in this, a lot of us will be here to see you through this little rough patch.

I've seen this happen to multiple other artists I support and it's honestly infuriating to see. For some creators, Patreon is one of, if not their major income source, and have harbored most of their supporters solely off their NSFW works. Sure there are a lot who support them because they appreciate their dedication to art, but sadly that's usually a minority of them. I hope this gets settled on your end, but you won't be seeing me leave just from some censorship. I love your art and your craft no matter the form or the presentation. ❤️
